At least three of these are totally iconic. You only have to say "Van Persie's header", "Bergkamp against Argentina", and "Van Basten's volley", and most football fans can visualize the goals in their minds.

Watched several goals in this video with my Grandpa. Still remember when we were having a family reunion party and he and me were the only ones watching the the 2014 WK in Africa. We were watching the game between The Netherlands and Brazil! It was unfortunately his last game he could see, but at least his last game was a victory against Brazil!

Imho, Bergkamp's goal is the most impressive due to degree of difficulty controlling such a long pass from De Boer and then calmly putting it away. It was also very late in the game.
I think the same. A long hard shot is nice, but the degree of difficulty in Berkamps goal is tremendous. My favorite goal ever...
FYI them two had been doing that since childhood so for another player yes I agree but for this occasion I think it was rather easy for him to do even though it’s a very important game in a World Cup …. His level was just icy 🥶 The iceman
Van Basten goal was in the final, in a game still very far from played. Having the audacity to kick it directly instead of controlling it is genius. Clearly the nr 1.
@@Gabor123 This. Although to me Bergkamp's goal will always be the most memorable, as I've seen it live and was just a tad too young to remember Van Basten's one, the latter clearly is the #1. I'd put Bergamp's goal at #2 btw but Van Basten just hitting it mid-air takes balls. And should be the #1. One of the greatest goals ever.
Now this is just about the Dutch team but when we include league goals, Bergkamp pops up again: that one against Newcastle was just sheer brilliance. I don't think I've ever seen something quite like it ever since. It doesn't even look _that_ spectacular, but what he did there was sheer genius.
Van Bastens goal is really far more difficult to do. It is the best, but Bergkamp is second I think.

I'm from Germany but I somehow really like the Netherlands national team. Was so exciting to watch the uncrowned golden generation, how I like to call it, from 2008 - 2014 with Van Persie, Huntelaar, Sneijder, Robben, Van der Vaart and my favourite player of alle time Dirk Kuyt. They played great tournaments and deserved the world cup win.

@@branchyapple I love the way he played. Such a workhorse, never stopped running and fighting. Could play several positions, which was extremely important for the Netherlands in the 2014 world cup. Such a reliable player for Liverpool. But the way he won the Eredivision for Feyenoord in his last season was what impressed me the most. He also seems like a very down-to-earth guy and I like that.

I was a kid in front of the TV when Dennis Bergkamp crossed out Roberto Ayala and scored that goal. Now, I am living 5 mins from the Amsterdam ArenA where those talents were made. Thank you, Dutch football.
Netherlands have many more cities and clubs that deliver those talents. But yes Amsterdam is certainly on top with that.

@@thomasfut1997 Nee. Helemaal niet. Een bal over die afstand in die situatie onder die druk zo controleren en met twee bewegingen scoren getuigd van geniale beheersing en spelinzicht. Zonder twijfel voor mij de nummer 2. Die van Van Bronckhorst vind ik dus vrij gewoontjes. Ik mis een aantal goals, zoals Rob de Wit in 1985 tegen Hongarije. Zo belangrijk en mooi. Goal van Sneijder na die rush van Van Bronckhorst tegen Italie enzovoorts. In 78 scoorde Haan volgens mij een tweede keer van enorme afstand. Tegen Oostenrijk? Het eerste WK overigens dat ik me heel goed herinner, wat een gouden tijd was dat.
i'm italian. i was young when van basten scored that goal! one of the best goal i've ever seen in my life. i also watched van basten played in same stadium. i don't support a.c. milan but the "dutch" milan was one of the best team of the history: gullit, rijckard, van basten.......then the italians franco baresi , maldini, donadoni and so on..............cruyff, sneijder, robben, de boer, koeman........you lost 3 final world's cup......you deserve the next world cup! best greets from italy
I can't stop watching Tardelli celebrating his goal in the World Cup final 1982. To see those emotions, so touching and iconic. To see how Italians live football, it's wonderful to see.

Some great goals and great players. The Dutch always produce such technically gifted players. Simply a joy to watch. As others have said probably the best team to have not won the World Cup.
Bergkamp...the aerian control, how he mystifies Ayala and then shoot an exter...the most elegant & brillant goal, and a whole individual action, not "just" a shoot.
I agree with the list but not all of it, I can't blame you tho, there is so many beatiful goals throughout the history of the Netherlands, for example, Robben spictacular sprint against Ramos and actually wiping the floor with Iker (Which whom i respect so much as a GK). But that goal was one of the best goals of so many that you left out. But anyways, amazing video. Keep it up ❤
For many years my hero was Dennis Bergkamp .an absolute Genius . Great team the Dutch .
Thought Johan Neeskens goal against Brazil in 74 would at least have got a honourable mention. The whole build up and finishing was sublime.

al lws vond dit wel prima als top 10. Je mist sws altijd wel wat goals bij een top 10 van een club/land. Anders kan je net zo goed een top 100 maken

@@allws9683 er zijn verschillende manieren om een top 10 (of 20) op te zetten. Als ik terugkijk op de bijna 50 jaar dat ik het nederlands elftal heb gevolgd, zijn de doelpunten die "het verschil" hebben gemaakt de mooiste momenten.... het goal van Marco van Basten tegen Duitsland in 1988, de kopbal van Kieft tegen Ierland in 1988, de kopbal van van Persie (omdat dat de ommekeer inleidde) etc etc... Nog steeds rillingen als ik ernaar kijk.

I would love to see that kind of rankings for every country from Europe. Perfect montage and selection, one thing which I could add is to write: who scored, against which team and year of the match. Would be perfect!

Tja die van 1988, voor mij de grootste voetballer die Nederland heeft gehad. Zonder zijn knie blessure was van Basten nog veel groter geweest en hadden wij de wereldbeker gewonnen. Alleen al de grote drie Van Basten, Rijkaard en Gullit, de sleutel tot het succes. Een geweldig doelpunt van een geweldig elftal tijdens een geweldige wedstrijd. Absoluut de mooiste doelpunt, die keuze is bijna voorspelbaar.
Dat schot van Arie Haan al zo lang geleden maar blijft een van mijn favoriete. Mooie video met commentator, had leuk geweest als je de datum, eindstand en tegenstander erbij had gemeld.

Nr 6 the Arie Haan goal against Italy/Zoff (then best keeper of the world) in semi finals (round) of the WorldCup78 was a masterpiece. At the time I thougth 'Why shoot from that distance? It is way to far!!' ... But Haan took the shot, and Zoff saw the danger, shouting at his team mates. Haan launched an incredible powerfull shot (take note he scored from distance against the Germans only 4 days prior!) ... the ball curved to the outside. Zoff, shocked, stretched, but the rocket ball hit the goalpost on his left, out of reach for Zoff, and went it.
It was a shocker, this goal, which made the Dutch go through to the finals (against Argentina)

Bro wil je groot worden met CZcams, doe dit met ieder land geloof mij je wordt 1 van de best bekeken CZcams kanalen als het om voetbal gaat. Je hebt geluk dat ik zelf dit niet kan met editen en ik al meer dan genoeg inkomstenbronnen heb. Maar doe dit en je wordt fk groot maatje let op m’n woorden
leuk..... maar er zijn toch een aantal goals die ik liever in de top 10 had gezien. Misschien niet omdat ze mooier waren, maar omdat ze zo veel meer te weeg hebben gebracht (mag ik in dat opzicht het doelpunt van van Basten tegen Duitsland in de halve finale in 1988 noemen)
