By any chance, does the Switch port for Arkham City have the Wii U Armored Edition Batman and Catwoman suits as alternate skins in the game? Wasn't fond of how shiny Catwoman's was, but I loved Batman's armor.

You don’t have those Spider-Man games without Arkham city. It’s the foundation for combat, world building, fast exploration and mass amounts of content
Yeah sorry kid.....You don't have the Arkham games without Spider-man....I know people love to drone on having no clue what they're taking about BUT......Spider-man has been using that style of combat since Spider-man 2 The movie on PS2. Every single Spider-man game has not only used that combat, but has refined that combat with each game since Spider-man 2 the movie, the game. I don't know where people get this delusion that somehow Arkham invented their combat, when they just literally borrowed it from the several Spider-man games that all existed before Arkham Asylum.
Your arguments will hold water when I see a remastered Spider-Man 2 movie game… until then. I’m pretty sure they’ll continue remastering the games that actually mattered.

Disappointed they couldn't fix Knight with this version. I tried PS4 and halfway through it just started force closing all the time. You can’t buy individual. People are confused because they are listed separately on the eshop but you only can Purchase the Trilogy. I’m loving the game just because I never had the chance to play them and I only have a Switch. Playing in order and just hoping they update Arkham Knight by the time I get to it which the way I play will probably be in a year
I can't help but feel this was intentionally done so that the publishers would be guaranteed a certain amount of money per sale as selling individually would've meant people are less inclined to buy all 3 especially since Arkha Knight isn't performing well on the system.
For sure! If they were sold individually I would have just picked up Asylum and worked my way through but I have been looking forward to playing these for so long I just figured for me it was worth it. There’s a history of game’s getting patched up on switch so I’m hoping Knight will be one of them but I’m not counting on it
I started playing it last night and it's definitely pretty solid for being on Switch. I could be wrong, but the combat does seem to be a little slower.

It all comes down to who is doing the porting for these third-party ports on switch. Nobody expects to switch version to be on par with the Xbox series X or PS5, but it should be at least on par with what it would’ve been on Xbox 360 or PS3, as the switch is comparable to those consoles in power and performance.

@@Solid-Lion_Official Thanks for the advice I will indeed play the Batgirl DLC first 👍 I don’t quite remember the ending of City unfortunately I just remember fighting Solomon Grundy at the end……. I just thought they had too many villains in the game personally seemed overkill to me.

All these people and media complaining about arkham knight but not complimenting asylum or city.
Ive just done a 2 hour stint on knight ,took my switch battery from full to 18% but its playable....of course i hope for patches but if WB had done the kingdom hearts treatment and released a cloud version there would be uproar.
Seriously people be happy its even on the switch as it has no right to be 😂
Two things I’ve been playing Arkham asylum 59% of the way through going for 100% I’ve noticed minor frame drops and some slowdown when more enemies are on screen but the one huge drop I got was when your leaving botanical gardens and ivys plants block your way out my game went from a solid 30 to straight 3-5 frames. playing in the original switch dunno if the oled and original have any impact of the game tho.
nah OLED does the same, I was saying same thing im like how is the gardens this choppy but city has no issues.. again tho i enjoyed those 2 Knight is God awful.
I definitely would have bought them if they were individual physical releases. I do love the games (on pc for me). On the fence if I will pick it up as is.
I bought it physical for 45 bucks.
22.5 each for the 1st two are worth it for me as i never owned those myself to be able to finish them.
AK is just a nice bonus that hopefully will be patched.
No one expected AK on Switch anyways so 40 bucks for this collection should be worth it.

No, this isn’t a matter of performance. This is a matter of a game, being too big and operating at a faster pace than games like the Witcher

Lol you're talking about a 2017 hardware that was built for 2013 graphics, tryna play games that needed 2016 graphics

I did a quick run on Arkham Asylum and City and I dig them both... I've actually played Arkham Knight the most extensively and am completely satisfied playing on my Switch. While the Switch is not as powerful as the Playstation and Xbox, it definitely holds it's own with ALL THREE games. As far as i know, it's only available to buy as a bundle. If the Switch is your primary console, or if you prefer handheld, this game is definitely worth the buy. So don't let this critique scare you off if you don't mind paying 60 bucks for a game.... even if it is YEARS OLD and you've been waiting for it to come to this console. My 17 year old son, who has a PS5 (We have all three and Origins on the Xbox series x) actually took over my Switch and LOVES it on the Switch.
I logged into the eShop today (12/4), and it looks like these games are not yet available to purchase individually
You don’t have those Spider-Man games without Arkham city. It’s the foundation for combat, world building, fast exploration and mass amounts of content
That is not true, Spiderman 2 on the GC/PS2/XB was first in open world exploration but the combat wasnt as great.
@@lutherheggs451 yeah Spidey was first, Batman Arkham perfected the battle style mechanics but Arkham was originally a 3d Metroidvania and not so much a freeroamer like Spidey and that is were they differed.
But since Arkham City, Batman Arkham became a open world series.
But Spidey was first and Spiderman 2 on PS2 is a legendary game, it really exist on its own outside of the movie its based on.
arkham city didn't have that much of fast exploration, are you talking about arkham knight?
Disappointed they couldn't fix Knight with this version. I tried PS4 and halfway through it just started force closing all the time.
With that said I i feel Knight was always the weakest entry because the Batmobile stuff was awful. We all anticipated finally being able to drive it and it just turns out to be mainly used for puzzles and tank play and I think they did it too much.
Beside that fps drop in batmobile gameplay, the game running smoothly on switch
Do you prefer switch or ps5 for rpg jrpg games?
Wish they could've put Origins in instead of Knight.
Well, I was having a good day until you made me think about the Batmobile parts of Arkham Knight. Thanks.

It all comes down to who is doing the porting for these third-party ports on switch. Nobody expects to switch version to be on par with the Xbox series X or PS5, but it should be at least on par with what it would’ve been on Xbox 360 or PS3, as the switch is comparable to those consoles in power and performance.
