nice video. i'm just taking up this game after like 7 years not touching it. i like playing as spain, which has like the worst troops so it's a challenge lol, but the spanish voice acting is worth it
Helpful video I appreciate it my friend and I just got this game and we’re loving it, but still have a lot to learn. I like playing Sweden they’re very simple and not one of the top tier factions like Britain Prussia or France so it’s a bit more challenging.
Sweden has very good cavalry which I talk about in my OP shooter cav video. They arnt top tier but still very strong. Keep it up!
@@thetotalwarsmaster thanks. And yeah I’ve noticed that the mounted jagers are pretty sweet.
Nice battle! But you seemed slow to use your overwhelming advantage of cavalry, lights and line against your opponent. Also a good tip as GB to counter lancers is to have your cavalry go into diamond formation.
I didn’t need to use my cavalry much after countering his because I could win the sustained light infantry fight. My cavalry could be kept out to create disturbances later.
With them being heavy cav I didn’t want to run them behind him or anything because they would then need to rest forever.
In my experience and testing Dimond formation does not do much to stop or limit casualties from lancers.
Spread out line infantry fairly good tactic on grassy flatland, but İt has weakness to multiple cavalry attacks 😅
Not really more than any other line. You get the benefits of square as soon as your men start forming it. In competition you’ll find most players with spread out line.
Spread out line maximizes your firepower.
@@thetotalwarsmaster what if your opponent do cavalry attack you would probably do Square formations but dont forget your opponent close his line infantry and Light infantry at the same time doing cavalry attack
@@Burakkkgaming Except he hadn’t outflanked me with his cavalry. I could just gun them down in they gave a frontal change at my line.
I played with a guy who uses same tactic longer than this line and no Light unit, I divided my army into 3 as right wing middle and left wing then ı started to force him on wings doing cavalry attack supported infantry units, I almost beat that guy, why ı lost is ı had no experienced units 😂
Easy way to escape spread out infantry is pulling back your army by spreading out 😅
Either way once he lost his cav he was gonna struggle. If he had formed a longer line it would of stopped some of my initial flanking, but my lights woulda beat his every day of the week, forcing him to engage where my cav and inf could destroy him.
@@thetotalwarsmaster your opponent dont have to do cavalry attack first 😏
@@Burakkkgaming yes, that’s my point.
@@thetotalwarsmasterhi there, quick question, do you think it's possible to use carolean ga pa tactics in Napoleon total war?
@@Brett-uq4tz I don’t know enough about it to be able to comment on it.
Cannot understand a word you say in the intro. Slow down and make your words clearer. I guarantee your channel will grow faster which I hope it does.
