The explosion sound you hear is done by Barry. On the video when you see him going by himself at the microphone that is when he does it. They were great, they had that chemistry together, Barry must missed his brothers so much, it probably hurts.

In an interview right before he started his tour by himself he was cracking jokes about when he started practicing it in the shower and said my wife asked just what was I doing in there. It was great. He was so depressed and she said he'd just sit around the house and sing and she pushed him to get back out there and seeing all the love from his fans and that they shared in his pain really brought him back from a low place. Bless his heart.

They had 15 number one hits, 21 albums, I have no idea how many in the top forty but I have my 100+ favorites. They wrote three number one songs in one evening. Barry got the idea for Jive Talkin because of the noise it made when they were walking in a certain area. Music and vocal geniuses. They also wrote a bunch of songs for other people. The youngest brother Andy Gibb was a solo artist with a ton of great songs. When you see him and hear his voice you know immediately what family he came from. I could go back and live those decades a hundred times. Barry said when disco started and they needed to change things up he started practicing his falsetto in the shower. His wife had to check and make sure he was okay. They still walk around had in hand and through all of their tour's he wasn't one to go out. He has stayed true to her all of these years. Sadly he's the only living Gibb brother. He started touring on his own and his son and niece joined him. He was so depressed his wife pushed him to get back out there because the fans still loved him and felt the pain too. Disco would have never exploded to what it did without them. They hits between them and Andy just kept coming one after the other. It was an amazing time to be alive. I really love that young people can hear them and love them too. ❤
