He didn't win because nobody knos that he's a composer, singer, autor, musician and a complete performer. In the eurovision they don't have a huge sight of the situation.

Don't forget Daft Punk produced this, I found it amusing when they showed Conchita Wurst this in Vienna 2015 checking she may have sung at Eurovision before lol. Backing vocalists still seemed useless though but the helium part always gets me 😂 wasn't surprised UK gave Sebastian 2 pts and that Summer "Divine" was used in Renault adverts.

The vocalists on stage were a necessity because the Eurovision doesn't allow any singing that isn't done live, so they had to take the music's original vocals out

Mais personnellement, J'ADORAIS ce côté décalé, le personnage, le clip, la mise en scène, son look ,son si beau costume élégant et sa barbe cracra , le très mauvais cadrage du réalisateur sur son ventre, le coup du ballon à l'hélium qui foire ...c'était l'époque où on essayait toute sorte de musique, l'humour, l'audace...mais ça n'a jamais plu aux européens. ...quand ça vient de France...ah si, je me rappelle que LA FINLANDE nous avait donné ses 12 points !!!😂
