If your kids don’t want to go to WDW, get them a babysitter and actually enjoy a trip without the kids.
Love this!! I did this for the first time in sept for my bday. Ditched husband and kids and went to disney with my sister in law
This 💯 I just took 5 kids for 9 days and they didn’t quite appreciate it and the adults on the trip didn’t have a chance to enjoy the atmosphere. I have a quick weekend trip coming up and can’t wait to soak it all in!

Last time I went to WDW was in 2007, so I’m way past due for another visit but with the inflation in admission prices let alone in airfare I don’t know if it’s currently worth going. Would be nice if Bob Iger went about pricing like Eisner did in the mid-90’s, how I miss the old days/ways.

I went during covid when masks were necessary and 6 ft between each guest. But of course people did not do that. But I did let them know. It was fun we went for a weekend my oldest paid for everything
I think it's worth it, especially if you go during less busy times of the year, use travel reward points, etc. It's always going to be pricy, but there are ways to make it more feasible.

I’m booked (49 days to go) but am not paying the big balance until i know if my ankle will be okay. It’s an important year for me personally, plus I really want to experience the original Country Bears Jamboree and It’s Tough to Be a Bug for a last time.
I went with my family around Christmas 2022 for a week. I was going to go back this December by myself but canceled. Even if I went I wouldn't have as-much fun like I did in 2022. Only new things I'm missing is Tron and Moana, so I think I'm good saving $$ by not going in 2024. 😇

So excited to go to WDW in March!! We went this year in 2023, and next year we’ll be going with my sister in law and brother in law. Staying at an AirBNB, which means splitting cost of a house and car! We’ll be there 10 days. So excited!!

Nope - better ways to spend that much money...downpayment for a Car or a vacation to a real Deluxe resort comes to mind.
Went to Disney World back in March and planning on heading back down next month.

I'm really sad about it's tough to be a bug.... It was always one of my favorites I remember I lost a tooth in there like on the floor and had to hunt when the lights came back on. Now my kid loves it too ❤😢

I still can't believe they're going to get rid of that awesome dinosaur ride. As much as I want an Indiana Jones ride it still hurts. Plus Indy would fit in much better at Hollywood Studios.

We usually go in August either 1st or 2nd week. We are planning on going during RunDisney week 2024. How are the crowds for that week compared to August crowds?

I originally was going in September 2024 because I finally wanted to experience Halloween Horror Nights before the crowds of Epic Universe. And I thought, since I'm in Florida, I might as well go to Disneyworld. I will be very excited if Tiana's ride opens before then!
Quick answer better be a resounding "YES" since I am going in March 2024. At that point it will have been nearly five years since my last visit. I. CAN'T. WAIT!!!!!!
I only recommend Disney world anytime of year expect summer for that reason I only for the west coast better summer weather lol.

I have gone to WDW for the last 5 yrs. I found that if I want a med steak I have to order it welldone. If you want it pittsburg blue order it med. at every and any steak place

not sure of odds- it all depends on how weak demand is. If they need to make a deal, they will.
You have to pay parking when you are in the hotel,
i HAVE NOT BEEN BEFORE. i DID NOT WANT TO GO WHEN MASKS WERE REQUIERD OR THE RAILROAD WAS CLOSED or the walls were up and I hate the thought of reservations and park hopping at 2

Disneyland Paris in 2024 for us. The kids are WDW and DLR veterans and are super excited to see DLP!
If you wait to visit because of all the new stuff isn't done, you'll never go. Seems like there is always something new on the horizon.

I’m sad to say my future kids will probably not get to see the true Disney from the early 2000’s to 2010. Disney is getting crazy expensive. My family now has stopped going due to the outrageous prices. My kids will probably not get to share the same Disney experiences I got as a kid.

Disney has too many attractions down for overhaul to pay so much for tickets. Too many up costs for rides and extra pay to jump the lines.👎Better vacations can be had for lower cost and having better control of hrs in day.
Hey. So I have a little request if you can help. I’m going to Disney for Valentine’s Day week. I haven’t seen any dedicated videos for planning that week in the past. And after much research I see there is 60 days ahead of time for food reservations.
So I know it’s unlikely you might respond, but I need some suggestions for the best romantic restaurant options.
I don’t know if this will help but EPCOT’S La Cellier Steakhouse. It’s amazing food and had a very romantic atmosphere:

I’m sorry but I have a family of 4 and have NEVER come close to $6000 to $7000 on our trips. And we have gone 4-6 days at the parks. 🤷

I have probably the stupidest question of the day.
I know that stores and restaurants inside the parks take the Disney gift cards but let’s say that for whatever crazy reason you can only get those cards in $50 increments and your bill is like $75. Will they take two separate cards or will you have to have cash to offset the balance or will they even take the card because the price is over $50?

I called and was told “Only park hopper tickets can park hop, and only park hopper tickets can park hop after 2 only”. Our trip is wayyy after Jan 9.

My experience from early this year is that not all cast members give the correct information.

@@rosehower You'll still need park hopper tickets after Jan 9. You just won't need to make park reservations or wait until 2pm to hop - you can go to park A at 0900 and hop to your hearts delight immediately after scanning in.

I just went to magic Kingdom for Thanksgiving. I was so disappointed of how short some of the rides last, the mermaid's mouth barely moves when she talks on the 1st scene, rapunzel's makeup looks so unnatural on the pictures with my niece. I promise you that I've seen WAY better cosplays. Couldnt ride tron and space mountain broke down so we couldnt ride it either. When i asked the kids, which park they liked best, they all said universal's. Boy, am i glad im an annual pass holder there!
I’m going for the first time in over 20 years the first week of February with my 5 year old son and we couldn’t be any more excited! I know it’s going to be expensive and as a single mom it’s probably not the best financial decision but he needs to experience the magic like I did when he’s young 🩵
I go 2x a year with my now 6 year old and trust me- take the trip. It’s so fun to go with just your kiddo and they will remember it forever!!🖤

It feels like Disney is trying hard to scrub a Bugs Life off the archive. I get it’s not popular but it’s a better story compared to others. Is it problematic because of the themes of drag and fat shaming or something?
