My husband made this recipe with a 2 inch thick swordfish tonight and it was delicious. We cooked the internal temperature to 133 degrees on a cast iron skillet. We ate the swordfish with asparagus and tomato and a little side of garlic mashed potato, we poured the balsamic sauce left over from the asparagus over the fish to finish it off. It was to die for, by far the best meal we have made this year. Happy New Year, best regards- Chris & Lourdes - Farmingdale NY
David that fish and whole meal looks fabulous. Love the tomatoes and the sour cream accompaniment. I've never tried asparagus that way, I'll be trying this dish for sure. Thank you for this recipe
My Dad was a wonderful Cook too. His food was amazing. Fresh, well presented on the plate. Bless his heart. Thank-you for your delicious recipes. Your an amazing cook.
@@ChefMooneys you’re welcome! I ended up cooking this tonight. This was delightful! Cajun Swordfish along with asparagus is officially my Friday night meal. ❤❤❤
Hope you meant Swordfish :) Looks good, I've had it before and it is VERY tasty... Will try your recipe as soon as my uncle bring back some swordfish :) Can't wait
Love the dish, we are gonna do this tomorrow, never before have I tried swordfish so it should be a treat. One question where did you get your grill at I want one of those? Thanks Mate~
Roger Fischer mahi mahi. Don't even tell her it's fish, she probably won't know! Also be sure to use ONLY organic cold-pressed virgin COCONUT OIL for cooking fish.
Chef, my only advice would be to spare the viewers the sonic insult of that background track. This is an inspired dish. I suspect that the majority of the people who will follow this are not 9 year old little girls though! Please, in the future, consider your expert commentary as all we viewers need. Great technique as always but that soundtrack was absolutely brutal. BTW: I am heading for the kitchen straight away to do some swordfish steaks. Thanks You!!
Made this tonight and it was fantastic. Even my wife, who is not a huge fish fan, raved about it. Thanks, Chef!

Actually I seen swordfish on National Geographic and wondered Swordfish Steak Google it and your video was the first one to come up. Awesome!!
I followed the steps and it wouldnt cook all the was through. I just popped it in the oven for a few mins and that did the trick.
why the lime? most of the time you see lemon complement sea food. This looks delicious.
love lime give it a try
Because lime goes better with cajun seasoning.
a couple of drops then adds 6 tbsp at the end lol
