Hundreds of millions of pound spent, embarrassing champions league campaigns, endless excuses for bad league seasons. Howe can't even muster some success in the league cups. At some point, you make a change before the squad damage gets too far gone to quickly change.
Howe has had PLENTY of training ground time. He finished 4th in the CL, been out of the carabao cup since December.... been out of the FA cup since mid march.

If they were to replace him, I think the only suitable candidate would be Tuchel, there aren't many coaches out there who have actually won anything and maybe that's what the Newcastle owners think they need. Newcastle finished 7th after an injury hit season where they largely underperformed their expected points (which would’ve had them 4th-5th).
Other clubs had injuries too (though not to the extent of Newcastle). Man U had injuries and finished 8th and largely OVER performed their expected points.
This season wasn’t a failure. This season shows how much potential there is in this team that despite some of the worst luck with fixture pile-ups, cup draws, CL draws and injuries, they still made 7th (and arguably bottled 6th).

The way Newcastle played last season was exciting as much as remarkable considering what that team had achieved the previous season. However I do not think the transfer business went well last summer, little if any improvement was made to the team and therefore no improvement to their league position this season. That means they must have a good transfer window this summer fast skilful exciting talented players who want to drive forward and can do what most can't, use the ball efficiently and creatively, whilst still retain a solid defence. Eddie is not a bad manager but next season is make or break he needs to show us he is a good manager like last season, we all know he is capable he can do it if not it will be his last season at Newcastle. Not to worry, I am sure we will go to England and be their National manager and do something the current idiots will NEVER do, win something

Disappointing season. Newcastle's away record is shocking and we have lost 14 PL games this season. Not good enough, lot of work needed on the squad in the summer.

and with your coaching staff... they have had plentyyyyy of training time. they went out cups in december and mid march, finished last in their CL group. He's had nothing but time to work on the squad and prepare for games
