Renovation will cost serious ££ imo Gallowgate expansion £300 millions and 2 years to add a paltry extra 8,000 seats > corporate take a chunk so maybe 5,000 extra fan seats….or build a brand new £2 billion super new St James’s Stadium just behind in Leazes Park 80,000 so probably 20,000 extra fan seats🎉 money is no object to PIF and stadia is not included in PSR😮Spurs new one cost £1.2 billion and 4 years later has paid for itself…..all this imho😂
If only it was that easy, they tried to get permission to do this in the 90s but the uproar it caused amongst the ‘locals’ prevented it from happening.

Where do you get £300 million to expand the Gallowgate? Liverpool just added a similar amount of seats on their Anfield road end and that was done for around £70 million.
There is nothing relevant in this video. The arena site isn’t big enough and has housing planned, leazes park is a conservation area and would take years of court battles before they even had permission AND the club have already said we’re staying. Pointless video made for clicks.
I would rather build a new stadium at leazes park which is just a stone's throw from where we are now, we have to move with the times, as with other clubs who are building state of the art stadiums, we have to move forward, or get left behind, now is the time for Newcastle United to become a big powerhouse from top to bottom, let's take our chance.
Maybe let's see what they have planned, who's to say we can't do something mega like Real Madrid have with the current site.. I think everyone is expecting the gallowgate to be taken to level 7 and that's it 60tho I think our owners are looking to revamp the whole stadium..
Gallowgate end is one level higher than the east stand, you showed the sage instead of the arena site which has been bought by homes England for a housing development
