What they are basically saying is, if you're on benifits then you are only allowed the essentials, even if your condition is out of your control, your not allowed the ability to keep some cash aside and buy yourself something nice at the end of the month. Just vouchers for food. Pretty sad really. I feel sorry for those who actually suffer from mental health issues tbh (The legit ones) not the ones that try to play the system.

Meanwhile, all I got was, when are you coming back? have a physical condition or illness, all is fine. Have mental health and people lose interest, what have you got to be depressed about?

People are clearly so ignorant towards adhd and still treat it like a joke. It's a very debilitating disorder when you don't have access to the right support because it doesn't exist. I've always struggled to maintain full time work, never through lack of trying. I just about manage part time but can't survive off that. My reason for going through the pip process is so I can pay for the right treatment that is not currently available on the nhs and maybe after that I'd be in a better position to go into full-time work and I think a lot of people are in the same boat with this. People will play on any disability if they have no desire to work, but to single out certain illnesses as not worthy of help and support is absolutely disgusting

Most of the "Work from home" jobs require extensive knowledge of computers so if a person with a disability isn't tech savvy and lacks the capacity to learn it's not going to be pheasable to work from home. There are a lot of nefarious "work from home opportunities as well doing piece work such as sewing, or envelope stuffing which often refuse to pay out anything or doing surveys which pay peanuts. It seems like Rishi expects people to go down the route of "Only fans" or being "Content creators" on CZcams. However, he fails to recognise the fact that there are many people out there who, like myself, are not that tech savvy and assumes that because we live in a tech society that everyone can operate a modern technology and has the mental capacity to do so.

How you can be discriminated against
Discrimination can come in one of the following forms:
direct discrimination - treating someone with a protected characteristic less favourably than others
indirect discrimination - putting rules or arrangements in place that apply to everyone, but that put someone with a protected characteristic at an unfair disadvantage
harassment - unwanted behaviour linked to a protected characteristic that violates someone’s dignity or creates an offensive environment for them
victimisation - treating someone unfairly because they’ve complained about discrimination or harassment
