  • Our cutting-edge headquarters, completed within just eighteen months of TVS ownership in April 2020, marks a significant milestone in Norton’s evolution. The infusion of numerous highly-skilled positions has propelled the company to more than double its original size.
Stepping into our facility, you'll find a welcoming reception area that seamlessly blends warmth with modernity, featuring a curated display of both historic and contemporary motorcycle models.
In our workshop, we take pride in delivering a premium, in-house service tailored exclusively for existing Norton customers.
Operating seamlessly, our store's facility ensures various departments have access to the necessary parts for their operations.
Setting us apart as the exclusive motorcycle manufacturer in the UK with an in-house design studio, our innovative space is where the blueprint for all our future motorcycles comes to life.
The meticulous craftsmanship of our motorcycles begins with the fabrication of frames from raw materials, followed by an individual's skilled touch in the polishing process.
To guarantee the highest standards, our frames undergo rigorous quality control assessments, utilising state-of-the-art 3D measurement tools in a temperature-regulated quality room.
Our engines come to life in a contaminant-free, controlled environment, utilising precision-calibrated computer-controlled tools to ensure every component is assembled to exact specifications.
The assembly area serves as the nexus where various components seamlessly come together, initiating the creation of each motorcycle.
Post-assembly, each motorcycle undergoes comprehensive testing on our in-house dyno, ensuring peak performance.
From there, they go through our end-of-line inspection where they are checked over by our highly skilled inspectors for any potential defects or issues.
Our expansive facility is not only dedicated to manufacturing but also houses various departments, including Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and Sales, contributing to our steadily growing workforce, which now comprises nearly 300 proud employees.

Aha, my name on here's not going to win me any favors, but that was fantastic - watched it again at half speed to appreciate it better - some of my all time favorite machines in that front space. And the engine note at the end was delightful. I'm afraid I've got to wait longer for you to establish better before they'll drop into my price range but I'm in your corner. Keep it up!

Factory coming on well. So looking forward to purchasing a new Norton once the factory produces a newly designed bike (but not an electric one or head down and arse up type). Lets hope the pillion also gets a decent size seat to sit on.

Such extravagance and waste. It is breath taking! How many motorcycles does a company have to sell to pay for all that? Having been a Norton guy from my first new 70 Commando I am hopeful but with such a huge overhead and limited sales potential I can't imagine how the company will be able to support that overhead. Each machine appears to be hand assembled, very costly and the vast majority of space seems to be burning money and producing nothing. Good luck guys. I hope you are very successful in the limited production high end market. That business model has not been very effective in the motorcycle market in the past however.

My thoughts exactly but are they really worried. Do the Indian owners just want one of the Iconic Brands to be owned by them and to own/create what could be the Rolls Royce of motorbikes.

Great video of an area - we were rejected to even head for the reception. Sorry, Norton, no-go. Went all the way from germany to visit and see a real norton at Norton. But don’t worry, Triumph isn’t better in any way, closing up themselves in the middle of the week, too at that same day. The british motorcycle industry once again brothers in arms closing down.

An old video of a whole lot of nothin'! Super "clean" "airy" space, with seemingly no production line! With absolutely no respect for Norton's past. "Building" motorbikes that are far too expensive, and way off the mark to insure robust sales worldwide. It's all made up! What is wanted? Oil and air cooled singles, bolted into featherbed chassis! Liquid cooled singles as well, with a very very, careful look at engine architecture! All with a classic theme of practicality! Then add of course add sporting side. No need for "V fours", just boutique bullshit! England, Europe and Asia, needs and longs for small, easy to ride motorcycles. That are fun, look cool, and reasonably inexpensive! An Indian parent Company should understand this as well! Apparently not! They will not last long.

I'm definitely with you on this.
Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes on a low horsepower parallel twin and an Aprillia engined V4 wearing a Norton badge?
What is the thinking behind this approach?
Relying on the Norton name is not good enough. I would say some young riders have never even heard of them.
Aiming your sales at 60+ and 70+ is I feel very shortsighted.
If a young biker had a good few shekels to spend on a new filly. My guess is that this would be the last place they would look with, many greater bikes out there for a lot less money, and a lot more bike.

Sorry but are wrong, expensive is the way to go, for more sales world wide. More high end cars always out sell cheap ones. People with money will happily spend it on expensive anything, from handbags to supercars. I work in a £2000 a night hotel, and it is always full of people dropping a grand on a bottle of wine.
