Excellent 3 part video series. Picked up some very good learning points and I hope to utilities them in my mixes. I must say, one of the best studio mix videos I have seen in the last 15 years. Keep it up 👍🏼
#timepoint 13:43 *YEAH my son, I have used that compressor many times before and it is amazing in so many ways but dig this... I also have the PLUGIN VERSION of that same compressor and it comes in a bundle - on my SAW STUDIO RIG the plugin sounds IDENTICAL to the RACK version in front of you!!!!! That is the power of SAC and SAW STUDIO, YOU WILL ACTUALY GET TO HEAR THE "MATH" BEHIND HOW GREAT OR BUNK YOUR PLUGINS REALLY ARE. Whereas the vast majority of people have never ever heard just how good their plugins and VST's are - due to the truth that, the DAW/DIGITAL MIXING situation, you all use used (( EG: 99% of the time in floating point ETC or even worse TDM or RTAS)) is doing all the math translation between analog to digital and digital to analog conversion aka the BAD MIDDLE MAN.*
*Dude I would love to see you with a SAC and SAW STUDIO Rig ((LMAO!!)) You would lose your phucking mind with being able to replace all that equipment, the console and the protools rig and yield 100% better audio quality!*
This was a super entertaining and informative video series, well done man. I really loved how you shared your workflow and exactly what you did and why throughout the process. While this isn’t my normal genre of choice, you absolutely nailed the aesthetic of the genre in the mix. It’s punchy, aggressive, but not harsh sounding. You truly are a wonderful mix engineer and producer and the CZcams world is better off having got around. Cheers
@@RiotHomeRecording I appreciate your videos a lot, mixing on a desk myself with analog gear, it’s really enjoyable to watch your content, thanks awesome channel 💯
I just gotta ask.. Is there anyway to get the files for this song so we could play with the mix? I know it' s a shot in the dark but can't hurt to ask.

Thank you Kahn! That makes me feel good as I watch your videos and know you understand the process. Keep up the great work!
Nice blend of in, and out of the box. Glad the AudioScape comp is being used.
It’s becoming a standard on my vocal chain. Then the other I’ll use for bass or whatever.
Sounds good man! Thanks for the vid.
Appreciated Craig!!!

I do both.
What kind of foam/stand you have for your keyboard ? I find myself needing one !
It’s just a piece of shipping foam I cut to size, but it works.
