Jolanda Scaletta, the occultist, has convinced the Officer, Ottilie Bastarache, that they cannot let vampires run rampant in their own backyard. They collect consecrated salts and holy oil and a holy relic and return to the site of their last encounter with the undead, intent on Cleansing the Grounds!

I thought I was watching a horror movie from the 60s...excellent dialog and character narrative! Three Critical throws...how insane is that? Love it because the story could have taken a different turn and then you're painting up new/backfill characters. Great stuff...keel it coming!

Great story and Kudos to the background music and sound FX. Some of those gunshots sounded very close to a few used on some fun filled spaghetti westerns. I was laughing my ass off.
Lol they exactly were! I almost was able to license tracks directly from Ennio Morricone once 20 years ago for a short film that fell thru, but a writer I worked with new him personally, insane.

Wow, the dice really tell a story, don't they? Critical hit or miss, are equally fun, in my mind. Both can lead to great storytelling moments. Another amazing mission in the books! And no party losses. Unbelievable. I was worried for our intrepid band of adventurers, facing two vampires, but the squad came through when needed. And I love the way they rally to each other. If I'm being honest, I am curious just how bad a vampire face to face could be, and was looking forward to watching it unfold. May haps, as the legend of les Chasseurs de Cauchemars grows, other members of this vampire coven will come a calling?
I actually felt the same way (re vampire melee), I was actually looking forward to it. But, as see soon, there are bigger challenges afoot! 🏴☠️⚔️🍻

Indeed. A great story line is developing. Excellent presentation. I also saw that you used chopsticks to move some of the figures in tight terrain. My chopsticks skill level is very poor. You demonstrated skill, I would be flipping figures in random directions

Is this a game or just extra homework? The description is overwhelming (what happened to “show don’t tell ?” - do you think it would be interesting as story (past tense ) from a survivor recanting what happened? Need more voices - 😂- the gaming parts keeps breaking the immersion- but I am enjoying it (difficultly but it’s created ) enjoying the channel! Thanks !
Lol all points valid here. I agree that the game mechanics cripple the immersion. And as much as I’d love to show more than tell, I’m 1) not the best at that, and 2) I suppose I’m approaching this more as “radio play/screenplay table read/podcast with visual aids” - maybe one day I can do the cinematic version (one can (and does) dream)! A single pov recanting is an interesting idea too🤙⚔️🏴☠️🍻

I’ve had to put the SB battle reports on hold for a while because the Rangers of Shadow Deep movie project is currently taking up a lot of time and creative headspace (in addition to a bunch of day job stuff). Two of the scenarios I reported are in the main rule book and the third I just made up myself. 😎🍻
