Wizards and Warriors Channel fantasy animated documentary video series on the lore Warhammer Fantasy Battles Universe continues with an aftermath of our episode on the life and battle of Sigmar Heldenhammer ( • How Sigmar Won His Bat... ). Crisis called the End Times is upon the world and it is beckoned by the Champion of Chaos Archaon the Everchosen. In the aftermath of his conquest if the Norsca and victory over the northern Dwarfs ( • Warhammer End Times: R... ), continues its advance this time attacking Kislev ruled by the Ice Queen Katarin Bokha ( • Warhammer End Times: C... ). This opened the route towards the Auric Bastion raised by the leading wizard of the Empire Balthasar Gelt and its breaking in Ostland culminated at the battle of the Castle Rackspire, where the Empire received unexpected help from the Vampire counts in the face of Vlad von Carstein ( • Chaos Invades the Empi... ). But this was just the beginning and the Chaos incursion into the Empire continued with the Rise of the Glottkin brothers ( • Rise of the Glottkin -... ) which led to the Fall of Marienburg ( • Fall of Marienburg - W... ). The inexorable movement of the Chaos armies continued with the Skaven invasion of Tilea and the siege of Miragliano ( • Skaven Invasion - Warh... ) and during the fall of Bretonnia ( • Fall of Bretonnia - Wa... ). With the fall of Bretonnia and Marienburg before it, the route to the Empire's capital, Altdorf was open and the Emperor Karl Franz alongside his allies from Bretonnia and Vampire Counts had to defend the city ( • Fall of Altdorf - Warh... ). Elsewhere, the Skaven attacked the Lizardmen of Lustria ( • Fall of Lustria - Warh... ), while the High Elves of Ulthuan has to fight their dark Elven brethren ( • Fall of Ulthuan - Warh... ). In other regions, the WAAAGH of Grimgor Ironhide and Nagash were rising ( • WAAAGH! and Nagash - W... ), the latter leading to the fall of Nehekara ( • Fall of Nehekara - War... ). Elsewhere, the Skaven attacked the Dwarfes, leading to the fall of the kingdom of Thorgrim Grudgebearer ( • Dwarves vs Skaven - Wa... ), while the main forces of Chaos were attacking the Empire at Middenheim.

'The knights of humanity and Bretonnia...', because even in the End Times, fiction doesn't get so crazy as to consider the French as people.
You tell the story well. Great video. Just one thing: The steed of Archaon, Dorghar looks like a demonic horse during the End Times. The mount got an upgrade for Age of Sigmar as the surviving Chaos Gods each sent a new demonic steed for Archaon as a reward for destroying the Old World. Dorghar did not want to be replaced, so it devoured the steeds sent to replace it, thus gaining their powers for itself (the extra heads, wings and stuff).
Honestly, if Archaons mount could fly during the siege of Middenheim, he would have flown straight in instead of marching along his army from a duel to the next. :)

@@tiffanywyatt5137 warhammer has 3 different timelines in 2 settings, you have warhammer the old world which this series takes places, when the old world is destroyed you will have age of sigmar that is settled in the far future of the old world and there is not really a planet but dimensions(realms) that are protected by that patron realm god. Archeon still is the main villain, and age of sigmar is the actual continuation of warhammer.
And you will have warhammer 40k that is settled in earth's far future.

The End Times videos keep having a title beginning with "Fall of..." And there doesn't seem to be any hope on the horizon. Like many other commentators, I never knew much about Warhammer fantasy End Times, only that many fans hated it. After seeing these lore videos I can understand why, though they're still brilliantly made by W&W.
I wish W&W good luck in continuing, concluding and starting new lore videos. One day I hope they'll try delving into anime/manga worlds or a return to the Cosmere?

Damn, I really liked Warhammer Fantasy lore, its so depressing how it was snuffed out in the End. And add to that how exciting it was when it was revived thanks to Total War and its success in the recent years, but then considering the direction THAT company went recently, it makes me sad, as unless something change, I predict another End Times in the not so distant future.

@@willy.b.b3427 40k is hitting higher popularity with the Horus Heresy series and the Primarch's returning.
Fantasy got an end times because it wasn't popular enough and GW wanted to focus on 40k. So just decided to end Fantasy and shift focus.

I honestly get why there's so much hate for the "end times" now , like how are you going to kill Valten like that??? Did they thought it was going to be good? Or satisfy someone? grimdark and all at least respect the characters and don't make me cringe
Even the actual Skaven would think it was a bit much, like their writers suddenly stopped caring.
Its the end times. Wouldn't exactly be thematic if Chaos didn't absolutely screw everyone in existence.
A lot of bs happened, but I'm pretty okay with how Valten died. As legendary as he might be, Verminlords themselves, asides from being sneaky skavens, are practically greater daemons in their own right, and a surprise attack from behind is peak skaven. No, the worst things about End Times are the out-of-character moments like the elves suddenly embracing Malekith and characters who disappear suddenly without returning like Skarsnik.

writters didnt stop caring i think GW did, desperate to bring back fans and get new ones, decisions like this and just throwing in the skaven with little care or thought just to get grab some edgy fans
The thing that interested me the most is that skaven now eventually allied themselves with Archon and Now the Undead seek a deal with the remaining factions of Order. I was not this shaked by the recent defeats than I am shaked by the Alliances

Yes! I've been waiting for this one since the series started. Valten being one of my favorite underrated Warhammer characters and seeing his moment in the sun is always cool to watch, ending aside of course. DAMN SKAVEN!!! That said, I really enjoy this series and am looking forward to more.

Well at least Valten died in battle and not stabbed while he slept in his tent as happened in Storm of Chaos although where was he earlier? You also missed the fact that because it was not Archaon who killed Valten the spirit of Sgmar was released and the God could now return in full - and lead to the Age of Sigmar.
Also where were Alarielle and Vlad von Carstein in the siege? Vlad save Alarielle and confronts his possessed wife Isabella, slipping the Carstein ring on her finger before hurling both of them off the walls onto stakes, killing him but saving Isabella who somehow makes her way through the siege lines and ends up in Sylvania with Vlad's first wife Neferata (and her sister Khalida) to wait out the end of the world.
Why is it W&W seems to only be focusing on the end times stuff for WHFB.
There’s loads of other events from warhammer fantasy.
They had made a lengthy series about Sigmar, so it is not so that they are only looking at the end...

@@theliato3809 That is true. Of course, both seem to be among the greatest battle-stories who are in Warhammer (it would be very similar to Sigmar if they made right after him kets say one about the rise of Bretonnia).
Of course it may be that many people would have prefer the "false" endtimes with Archaon which ended in his defeat (and to be hones they may not be as much epic, but they seem less dumb written than the real end times).
@@marcbartuschka6372 They could have made a cool video about the Battle of Helfen, where there was a real tactic (the prototype was the Battle of Cannes) or the third battle at the Black Fire Pass, where Karl Franz showed himself in all his glory. It would also be nice to see a video about the Great War against Chaos.

That's how the forces of 'Order' have always been. It took a big bufty boy in plot armour to unite the Chaos forces and some similarly fan-ficcy buffs for Skaven, the stalemate that had been the Old Wolrd would have taken a lot longer to collapse.
This is not only grim but also entirely epic! Yet do not push yourselves too hard we nees you guys for long!

A bit awkward, with Nagash being around with Alarielle; since her daughter Aliathra was sacrificed to bring his return.

Great video. Shame the writing from games workshop was so bloody one sided. I get it’s the end times but it’s just off putting. All these strongholds… yeah but skaven dug a tunnel again and got straight in.
Edit: player 3 aka Nagash has joined the game - I am hoping for something spicey now.
The Skaven have tunnels under every major city so that shouldn't be surprising.
