This AZ desert girl got a chance to catch fireflies while visiting cousins who moved to San Bento, TX is the early 80’s. No such creature here so it was really fun and unique to me. At the time I was really great at catching lizards and toads not Karate kid flies

Fire flys came around my house a couple years ago after I made the comment that you never see them anymore to my wife. I saw then for the rest of that summer and none since. The same applies to birds. I mentioned that the cars never get bird shit on them and you never see big flocks on the power lines. My car had bird shit on it the next day and never again.

He goes on to state his dog was a rescue and was into fighting, etc. For anyone that has been around "service animals", one of the red flags to even consider an animal for "service" are animals that have had prior issues with being bred for fighting, etc. They will NOT be considered for "SERVICE". In his own mind, the dog was a "service" dog.
