Make sure you have drainage holes on the bottom of your herb continers. I love the pergola, the herbs will love the diffused light. The house is amazing, love it!!

Maybe put the nice red outdoor seat cushions inside the house if it is going to rain to prevent growth of mold/mildew. Would really be good to have a glass door enclosure in the kitchen. I know you mentioned that it is in future plans. Hope that the roof will not leak anymore. As for the tuktuk, it may cost more to fix it up than to buy a new one. Take care 🥰
It's nice to make a 3 layer bamboo shelf for your herbs and put a net above it to minimize from the heat of the sun, also it is better to transfer your herbs to plastic pot with a hole. Just an opinion.
you have to DRIL HOLES on the bottom of the pots so the water drain. Plants inn pots have to dry. That is the reason your plants are rotting the pot is not draininng
Pls let the poor dog live inside the house to protect him from the elements. Even if he has a dog house outside, it is better if you let him inside to sleep.
All my herbs usually die. They shouldnt be watered too much. Also, they basically hate the tropics but the Thai and Vietnam species of herbs like basil thrives here
Why don't you cement the walls in the back instead of having those bambo curtains? During a storm, which you will have many in a year, those things will just fly off to the shores, so that precious space you have worked hard on will become useless after mud, rain and debris will accumulate in the back.
