    Hi Tal, good day there. Oh my, that was a very stressful journey. Here is another option Tal, which might be a good option for travellers with huge luggaes. If you are carrying huge bags and luggages, you just do the air-conditioned Bus like the DLTB or Philtranco Bus going from Manila Terminal to Surigao City or Davao via RORO. The Bus will take care of your luggages, you don't have to walk far carrying luggages to the cashier. Although it is RORO, the good thing is the port from Matnog to Allen, Northern Samar is much closer like only 45 minutes to 1 hour ferry boat, very convenient and the Bus will take you to the Southern part of Leyte in I think Liloan via the island of Samar and travelling by bus is great you will see beautiful scenic places along the way and the San Juanico Bridge and there are stopovers in provinces from Manila to Leyte for meals (home-cooked meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner and for CR), and the port from Liloan Southern Leyte to Surigao is much nearer that from Cebu to Surigao I think it will only take 1 hour. Total days I think is 1-1/2 days to 2 days only. The good thing is you can get your huge luggages and bags once the Bus reaches Surigao. Please take this option Tal, this the most convenient way for travellers and very affordable than what you went through. You will only pay one time for the Bus and the Matnog port and the Liloan port which is very affordable due to its proximity to islands. Enjoy and please make more beautiful videos ✨💖🙏💐🎉🌴🏖️

      Caveat though. If you are not used to long/sitting for 24 hours and more then I suggest not to take this. The seat can also be uncomfortable, you might not be able to sleep or get some rest. Plus you will have to hold your pee or what not, until there is bus stop or drivers have to eat. Plus it can be crowded/too crowded for you esp for those that are new on this type of transportation here in PH.

      @piacash5216 Před 4 měsíci

      Really 😂

    • @InfiniteGoodness
      @InfiniteGoodness Před 4 měsíci

      @@cristinapalisa4449 Oh please come.on, if you can comfortably seat in an already super-compressed sitting area in a 20- to 24-hour nonstop airplane flight from the US to the Philippines or from Europe to the Philippines, how much more comfortable you can be in an air-conditioned bus which has a more leg space sitting area(you only need to bring a travel blanket because it is cold, but you can flip close your personal Aircon directed to you). And by the way, you can book all the 2-seater or 3-seater bench-like seat with all back and butt cushions you can own the whole seat for the whole ride to Mindanao for 3k plus pesos already included the ferry boat fare you will be given a ferry boat ticket in the port like Matnog and Liloan given by the conductor you just have to ask the driver and the conductor for it (we did it before and we put some of our important bags in that spacious 3-sitter seat booked for solo seat and I can even sleep comfortably in it), much more affordable than the 2Go travel and the Cebu hotel for stopover while carrying heavy luggages and bags going to and from. The bus ride is not like an airplane non-stop ride on air because if the plane stops on air everyone will be dead know what I mean? The bus has bus stopovers every meal time and even snack time in every town or province for meals and for CR. Bus driver will stop if you ask him if you want to pee outside. Please stop this wrong misconception about the bus ride to provinces. It is much more comfortable than the 20- to 24-hour plane ride from US or Europe to the Philippines. When in Matnog or in Liloan ferry boat, you can relax inside the ferry in an air-conditioned room with snacks. You can feel the luxury of being in an air-conditioned bus and ferry while listening to jazz music and watching the beautiful scenic nature in the Philippines. You can even stop and stay in a province, refund the remaining fare, rent a hotel and explore the lakes, beaches and mountains of the province, the people and food then go back to the same route provincial terminal where the bus stops over, and continue your ride. Easy right? By the way, the plane is crowded too, much more crowded than inside the air-conditioned bus. Only in the stopover where people meet from different buses but it:s nice you can meet and socialize with other people, unlike in the airplane you will just sit and sleep, eat sit with the same seat mate compressing you giving you difficulty going to the CR the whole time right?

    That ship you’re on is as big as a mall 😅

    CHEAPER (than Batanes) but EXHAUSTING 😅

    If your vlog is updated the reason why there's such a crowd in ports is because it's gonna be Holy week, Filipinos(christians or non-christians) take advantage of the longer holidays to go back home and spend the holidays with their families, same as All Saints' and All Souls Day(Nov 1 and 2) and Christmas, remember those dates if you want to avoid crowds

    Thats one of the problem with tourism in this country especially for locals. They charge even the locals the same as foreigners. A lot of locals haven't been to this and that place because of the crazy prices to even go there, thats why locals would opt to go to Thailand, Vietnam, etc. because its much cheaper than going/exploring your own country. Price for foreigners and locals should be different or at the least if a foreigner has/have been staying here for how many years, they just need to present a valid residential I.D to avail the local price. Ive been to Thailand and saw that the price of tourist spots, temples etc., tourist and local fees are different and not the same.

Lalo na sa siargao, 9 out of 10 ng businesses diyan pag ma may-ari ng foreigners!! Which means, mga taga labas lang din ang mas nakinabang kaysa natives na nandiyan sa mga isla na yan. Pumunta ka sa panglao, el nido, coron, sobrang mahal mga bilihin. Kawawa mga natives diyan. Mabuti sana kung may pera sila pang capital sa negosiyo na main target mga turista. O kaya mabuti sana kung naka bingwit sila ng mga afam para masama sila progress ng lugar. Eh hindi naman!
