What is a MOBA?
Multiplayer Online Battle Arenas, or MOBAs for short, originated as a sub-genre of the RTS (Real-Time Strategy) genre. Because of this, in most MOBA games, the player takes control of a single character from the isometric (top-down) view akin to most RTS games. Typically, in MOBA games, a player takes control of a single character on one of two teams. Those players choose characters that all have their own abilities, or “kits”. To win, the players must use a combination of abilities, teamwork, and strategy to not only best their opponent, but destroy the opponents main structures. A bonus to the genre is that most MOBAs are free games, which is definitely a contributing factor of the their massive success. The genre has many titles, the largest of which being Defense of the Ancients (DoTA) and DoTA 2, League of Legends (LoL), and most recently SMITE!
What is SMITE?
SMITE is one of the more recent free MOBA games to enter the fray. In SMITE you don’t just choose a character, you choose a god. You’ll instantly feel an attachment to characters like Thor and Zeus because even if you don’t know the lore behind them, you’ve at least heard their names before! What makes SMITE so immersive is Hi-Rez Studios’ inclusion of historical lore into the gods’ abilities, kits, and play styles. Thor and Loki aren’t just characters from Marvel comics and movies. They’re also a part of Norse mythology and you can take control of them in SMITE!
What makes SMITE different?
SMITE takes all of the strategy of the top MOBA games and adds another layer of difficulty by putting you into the action! Unlike most MOBA games, SMITE offers players the chance to experience the MOBA genre they know and love from a third-person perspective. This unique perspective allows for an extremely immersive experience unlike any other game in the genre. While this doesn’t sound like such a big change, once you play it you’ll understand! All of these things added together is what has gaming websites everywhere continually rating SMITE as one of the best MOBA games available!

Seriously the whole team just defending that Neith like that. Keeping her safe without doing anything stupid and getting kills and getting shit done. I thought I was dreaming because that was just too damn magical.

People need to start realizing that Inuki can only post plays that have actually been submitted to him. If a play showed up and you deem it bad it is probably cuz it was one of the best out of the ones that were submitted.
Nr 5 is literally 2 level ahead thor missing a basic to secure a kill and pressing aegis.

Patrik Borošak probably. I don't watch inuki's stream but i'm guessing he is slowly running out of options and that's the best he could get

not entirely sure if a scylla quadra is necessarily worthy of a top 5 play... like it's still good... but it's not the hardest thing to accomplish.
water2770 In some cases I'd agree, but that fact that she landed all her ults on four players trying to juke her without set up is a thing of dreams for Scylla players
When I was in the stream I was suprised that scylla got that high up. That play is like every scylla play ever.
MiniMovies Pop Perhaps that tells us more about Scylla as a character than those who play her. Which, by the way, I agree. I wouldn't necessarily call 4 ult kills by a Scylla an abundance of skill on the Scylla's end, but, rather, a lack of skill on the opponent's end. And it's not like Scylla has a lack of AoE abilities anyway.
water2770 right, landing 4 raw dog ults is easy. It's a lot harder than being a fed hunter and auto attacking 4 people down.
Judy .Walied here is what i'm saying. It is hard to hit scylla ults... however it doesn't feel like a top 5 player worthy. All you have to do is hit people with abilities. it's incredibly straightforward and in some situations can be more dependent on your enemies being bad then you being skilled.
Number 1 was really well deserved.
I'm glad you added that song back to the #1 play. It always make the #1 play feel more epic.
Also man that play was just fantastic. That khepri was on point with the abducts.

I love great support plays. #1 reminded me of the kumbah ways back that body blocked his Neith from walking into Shield Wall after getting taunted!

Once again we have the lovely phenomenon of people claiming that they see these types of plays all the time, or better yet that they make these plays all the time. Well we'd sure love to see it. Go queue in Leagues and show us how easy it is for you to pull these plays all the time. I assume we'll see you on the show every week if it's so easy! Then again given how common it is to see people playing the game who don't understand the meta, don't follow the most efficient gold starts, barely know their roles, won't rotate, chase kills with no result and don't bother to steal any camps, have 4 people rotate to solo lane and leave the GF wide open, and stand in the Fire Giant attacks without dodging I'm going to assume quite a few of you are not really honest about that.

Watched 5-2, thought "meh, boring weak with scrub fights and basic abilities used correctly", then #1 plays. Holy hell the team coordination, jukes, bodyblocks, everything was perfect!
Budger has had so many better plays, this shouldn't have been his top play but he definitely deserved it!

Squirrels Are The Best the play from neith is nothing phenomenal, the teammates she has is like a dream, they demonstrate the word "babysitting". i ran into teams like this and i envy them, when i got an ulti on a low health target, everyone from the other team forms human shield around this target, and when i got ulti locked on me, my teammates just ran away like they were afraid of the collateral dmg.
The Nr. 1 with Neith was just a perfect team group up.. want to have a team like that :3
tua237 I had one on Arena where I was in an all Guardian team with one Warrior. Our team consisted of Khepri, Ymir, Odin, Cabraken, and Ares. After I over-commit, the enemy Kumbha almost has me dead. I freeze him, run away, and he keeps on chasing. I have literally one hit left in me from an ability, when my team comes charging into the fray. Cab stuns him, Kumbh keeps on going for me. The enemy Agni comes over to finish me off, and they turn their attention to him and nuke him. While they did that, Kumbh is still trying to kill me. I freeze him one more time and run away, only to have an Ao Kuang pop up in my face. Ao ults me just as my Khepri ults me, and I live... just to teleport right back into Kumbh's awaiting arms. Kumbh almost kills me, but I barely live since my teammates killed him before he could kill me. Ao then ults on top of me after eating me, but instantly gets frozen and ult'd in Odin's cage, causing him to die.
I have never laughed so hard in my life.

21warmasters Indeed they are. My favorite comp is Athena, Khepri, Ares, Cab, and Ymir. Ares ult into Cab ult into Athena taunt into Ymir freeze.

Could someone tell me what is "Top" in #5? Thor has made no kill or team rescue, he only use an aegis for save himself from Thanatos ulti, Ymir saved him killing Thanatos, and he need to say thanks to Sobek that pull him away from battlefield. What he made to be a "Top Play"?

Khalifa Alsayed you are probably right, i can't guarantee a 100% 1s aegis against thano ulti, knowing that he's coming for me, but remember you just have to upload one successful try and that's almost guaranteed in a week's play...
+Luke Tsk94 Late answer, but Thor interrupted his ult w his aegis, nice use of it considering few people knew it back than and it's impossible to do anymore now :p

Is it me, or people are sending less replays? Because the only real Top Play here was number one; Scylla's play was good too (it's always nice to see that Ult chain), but only because of the "Oh Yeah!" factor.
And frankly, I don't know what Thor did on 5th... I mean, the only thing worth of note in that replay was the Aegis over a blatantly obvious Thanatos' Ult. And as someone already pointed, it's like saying "oh yea, nice Aegis counter on that Kraken; here take a star".
There is always a neith on this.
I'm not trying to be funny, Scylla needs a nerf to her ult or prevent the entire from selecting her at once causing them all to be scylla.

Can someone explain me what are those "flagged" players that always can replay their games? how do i become one? i just made an epic play with thana in casuals and couldnt send it to inuki cuz it cant be replayed... please help me!
Only ranked games (League Game modes) are recorded, unfortunately, but if someone is watching your game through casuals, then the game is recorded
***** no, there's a streaming key status, not many people know about it, but the ones who have it (my case) get allllll their games recorded

Please explain why and how a new god is on this list? New gods are usually considered broken (with a few exceptions), and they aren't allowed in any league play, so why would you allow a play with Khepri? If that had been any other guardian other than maybe Geb, Neith is dead and no play is made. It isn't hard to make plays when playing the broken god is easy.
