They may well change how his passive operates but the fact that this bug exists and it matches the bug fix note exactly I thought it was important to make people aware of this as I know the community would run with the assumption that he was being changed to basically make him imortal if anyone is still alive

It could be both things really. The window of death he has is still unusual if intended, given how both regular Bison and the new one have very similar text descriptions for their passives. The only difference is damage immunity for regular and stating he can't drop below 1hp with the new one. They're effectively the same thing though. Going by the grammar of their announcements is kind of pointless honestly, given we've long established the accuracy/consistency of words in everything they do is beyond bad.
The regular bison HP does go to 0 this one's not it would've been way better if they had made his passive the same as regular bison I stead of someone like Vergil mechanically they do the same thing but they are not the same.
I mean I'm not saying they won't change that.
I'm just pointing out there is actually a situational bug where his passive won't trigger at all and that lines up with the wording of announcement.
I’m just setting an expectation that there is another possibility other than what most have already decided
New bison is also way more powerful and for him to have absolutely no weakness outside of “kill the other people" it's horrible game design.
The window you have to exploit killing him is so small that actually pulling it off as a player will take some thought and timing and while it might be giving them too much credit but if they have done that on purpose I give them props for it.
I don't know why people would actually want him to have zero weakness, people don't like to admit it but they know badly designed op units like Vega and fadon are not actually a good thing so why would you want more characters to fall into that category
@@mehboob9101 For the purposes of his death having such a tiny window, both forms of death immunity are effectively the same. My point isn't about how they differ in countering them or what they do, it's just about the application (given its description). It's just odd for that very small window to be how it's supposed to work. Like Vergil, Honda, and everyone else with death immunity skills, there's a much larger cooldown or major downside. OBison would be the first for them to apply the equivalent of the Death Star's one weakness lol.
@@Hayzink Yeah, I get what you're trying to convey and it's honestly something people do need to hear more often than not. I'm just questioning the devs intentions with it because it would be a first for them to have such a tiny weakness to an otherwise OP mechanic/character. Usually it's more drastic than a 1sec window. Its description certainly doesn't help. Won't die for 3sec when triggered, but also has a cooldown of 3sec on trigger. Stuff like that, combined with the tiny window, just makes it seem unintentional if that description is supposed to be accurate and not at all misleading.

Their track record of "fixing" issues in the game is so bad that Im not even hopeful.

In your example isn't it just because he got silenced that it doesn't activate? He does it right after the silence ends.
If it is silence then you have just done the Devs work for them and found the trigger for the bug😂
When he takes damage following reaching zero you can see he runs through his full passive, if somehow silence was delaying the rest of his passive from kicking in but not the "don't drop below 3hp" then when mummy dhalsim is hitting him he would be dead as he is taking damage during the 4 and 5 second mark after taking the initial dmg that would have killed him (where the passive should have kicked in)
It's deffo bugged behaviour, it's a benifit as you are basically getting a freebie on the don't drop below 1hp and we know they are not a fan of bugs that hand us an advantage

it proves one point... it has been long time that the devs of this game dont know what are doing in the game... specially when it talks about tour lovely character Bison...
We don't care about bison, he is a whale character that shouldn't have been released
