I think it benefits the user to be able to cancel. Sometimes you don't want to be locked into that trigger (for example your C1 is a heal/shield and you need it). I rather be able to get out of the animation and heal.

Luke isn't necessarily "iconic" to the fan base yet, but Capcom are trying their hardest to make him the new protagonist that everyone loves.

I can see Marisa as the game literally doesn't have a good female Tank. You gotta force Makoto into assist or specific line ups and she's more of a hybrid tank. I could see Jamie to then apply maybe a 3rd trigger mechanic to the game through Yun and Yang. Kimberly is an easy one due to popularity, creativity, female, and she's another ninja. I think they'll focus on New characters that are SF5+SF6 roster like Luke to broaden the roster. Luke, Marisa, JP, Kimberly, Rashid are who I see. A long shot would be DJ as his current iteration is terrible and SF6 fixed his character. I don't see Manon or Lily making it. I do however see Ken making it as an OG character. Looking at his roster you can't get MH Ken, Fashion Ken or use OG Ken. My monkey wrench says we get SF6 Ken but as a hybrid like the new Cammy and Ibuki with skills + trigger stacks function.

This is just the start... they will bring more powerful unit later.. (I hope)

In all seriousness, you should make a series using the old starter fighters in difficult matches. Jailbreak Cody is easy. Rufus does an auto team atk+def+crit rate up. I've beaten entire 4 man teams with OG Zangief+M. Bison Also Overlord Bison+E. Honda

You know what's funny? I got Obison 2 weeks ago also. He was at S and I spent I think 280-310 tickets & got 8 cppies...straight to SSS cuz I also had a few starlight also. Then 30 div tickets gave me 4more copies lol. Instant vehicles and 100 soul power. A week or so later, I went for RHONDA with 280 tickets and got nothing. I was like "well I did luck out with bison (at a 1 out 8 rate usually with me) so back luck was around the corner"....turns out that was the glitch and they gave me my tickets back😂. Being patient this time.

I had to restart this game after a couple months back the game lost my account where the had hella event fighters and so much I worked hard for the entire time since the game was released. It hurts I can’t have them back but I started over and forgot how much fun this game was
