I think my biggest bugbear as a F2P player, is that it takes so long to build these units - by the time you've built one, they're starting to lose relevancy, been super unlucky of late, trying to pull for V.Vega (no copies in 110 tickets so far...), already got 5/6 cars saved up, and he's at S rank - so still a long way to go before he's even "built", and suddenly Bison seems like the no brainer... But if I carry on building Vega, before starting Bison, by the time I start pulling for Bison he'll probably be not worth it...
Feel sad for my boy Oni, had planned to pull for him after doing Gouken, but the priorities keep changing, and he's got 6/6 cars waiting, but he's only A+ xD
I get that the whole "point" is that these units are desireable to get people to drop money on the game, but they're just so slow for F2P players that it's more frustrating than anything else. Especially when you're at a level where you need these units to even try and compete.
I def understand from whale perspective on order. The counter I will make is that both o-bison and Rhonda require far more expensive investment and more expensive teammates to shine bc not everyone is going to have access to T-ryu/ gouken/ s-Elena+ Virgil assist. V Vega can still win 90% of matches w even just regular faction teammates which is why the vast majority of player base will benefit more from v Vega due to his flexibility. It’s more so about matchups now as while anti Vega teams can be built, they are vulnerable to other Rhonda/ Leo teams. It’s a game of rock paper scissors now
I save up more like at least 200 tickets. Whenever I do special sommons, you get just a little bit further along with building them and get more out while their new. I was doing selena got her to SS and that's when Rhonda came out I stopped with her to get him but then vvega came out so I just got him up to SSS skipping that unit saved me a lot of grinding. Also the more tickets you save the less likely to not get shafted with no copys I alway get atleast the 2% pull rate I normally get closer to 3%
@@thedeadp00l80 I save closer to 400-500 bcuz most units won’t help you until at least SSS anyways so even pulling with 200 tickets to bring a unit to S+ doesn’t really help much.
I buy the 3 tickets each day and try to save 200ish before pulling

I'm also free. I've got a few of them, just collect three special summens tickets every day for 3k gems from the shop and collect all the event summens. You will have over 150 if you keep collecting until an event ends.
There is definitely a difference in priority for whales over smaller spenders and F2P. Non-whales of any range are mostly not going to beat the whales that normally top charts in any content (especially PvP). For F2P in particular, Wega is the top priority by any measure. The closer any spenders are to whales will make that a little different. A sliding scale. Wega is the primary choice between the 3 in most situations, unless said non-whale has invested in making that ideal OBison team. If not, Wega all the way. As a non-whale with RHonda at SSS (no stars), it's debatable if it's worth it. It helps for bossing and such, but those tickets will probably be better off going to Wega.
I mean I think it really depends how you view it (especially long term)
We already know very tanky units can survive vvega and if those units can also do dmg (example Rhonda and TRYU) you can use that to beat him.
If you then layer on top range blocking units like chun and base honda he already has multiple options to beat him and adding more units with a similar mechanic is possible/likely to happen (so I'm talking tanky dmg dealers or units who can counter range)
Currently in game blocking bisons passive is only real way around his thing and only zang can do it and if players are halfway competent at team building they won't have him in slot one so zangs usefulness takes a nose dive in auto playing content.
So to actually counter him they would need to introduce a new mechanic which would be what zang does but on an aoe level (which means that well happen)
So from the viewpoint of long term viability because we can safely predict that we will see more hard to kill units that vvega won't one shot (we 100% are going to get a new sagat, especially if the other balrog ends up a special summon) I just think for long term viability even a f2p player might be better off starting to focus on the building blocks for the bison team
I have a maxed out Rhonda and no vega, I Cindy's try peace top 10 in things in my zone I've made final 8 in showdown etc and sometimes beat vega teams no regrets with my Rhonda

Kinda mad I wasted tickets on akuma. Should've went for gouken. I spent close to 100 tickets for obison got nothing 😂. I'll try again in three months.
Day 1 i aimed for Bison and Honda. Year 2 im aiming for Obison and Rhonda. some things never change

i think it makes sense honda as #2 considering he is a core part of the Counter vega team.
I generally agree with this list. However my picks would still be R Honda 1st then O Bison, only down to the Boss Rush. These give out the best in game rewards, especially if you’re free to play, there’s always someone with a Flame Li

I agree with what your saying, but still think a lot of people will play Bison upfront, especially newer guys who dont have any of the players you showcased ie Hugo RHonda or TRyu.. and only have the likes of Zang Honda and Abels to tank, with less damage and survivability.. I guess we will find out how many people actually watch your videos lol

Agree with this list, honestly I think VVega still needs a damage nerf but at least he can be killed, but they ruined the game with OBison, not only is he IMPOSSIBLE to kill without killing his WHOLE team first, he has absurd damage, the do not fall below 1 hp mechanic its not a bad mechanic, but adding Bisons passive on top of it is just retarded
I do perfer Takuma over Oni since Takuma can do alot more damge and his animtion are much faster

You need 80 soul power, full cars, fs+30. 80 SP gets you the bullet wall that blocks ten instead of five. it's the extra five hits that is clutch.
