Sorry bro, you have too many islands which are hunderds meters to the coast of Turkey. We have only 3, we have a border of 400km with the see but we cannot claim even the half of that because rock islands claim all the sea. Every time we fly planes they will cross the small island which are few hundred meters from the coast. Look distance from mainland greece and mainland Turkey to the disputed water territories. You have too much water we are too restricted.
We want peace, but only way is by the sea under mainland Turkey, such that we can have a seaborder with our brothers in Libya.
Also there are some unhabited islands which are talen by greece without it being in the lausanne agreement. You have sooo many islands we can't allow monopoly. We want to be good but sometimes we need to show muscles if nice words doesn't help, since we are too restricted within even few hunderds meters from mainland coast.

Yep. 'Eternal enmity between Greeks and Turks' is over-simplistic. Venizelos and Ataturk indeed cultivated a great friendship; with both proclaiming the inevitability of an 'Eastern Federation' between Greece, Turkey and Cyprus in the future. Other prominent Greek nationalist academics and politicians such as Ion Dragoumis theorised prior to the Balkan Wars the creation of a Greco-Turkish confederation organised along the lines of Austria-Hungary. Whether or not these ideas were realistic is beside the point. The point is that Greeks and Turks do not have an irreconcilable hatred toward one another.

Most of the Turks hate Arabs equaly or more than Greeks because of the betrayal on WW I. China and Russia are historical enemies for Turks aswell so that option is also not very likely. Not to mention Turkey is the only Nato member that actively fights-supplies against Russian backed forces on multiple fronts (meanwhile some of the Nato allies allied themselves with Russian backed forces lol). The only realistic option is Azerbaijan but i dont think they will be actively participate the war because the balance of power would be with Greeks if they convince France for active warfare. I am a Turk, but I don’t like the current 2022 Turkish Government. It’s no longer much of a democracy unfortunately, though things might change in the near future. I don’t agree with the Turks being allied with the Russian but it’s times like these it’s nice to have backup. If it were on Turkey, Azerbaijan, Greece, Armenia involved this wouldn’t be a big deal because the Turks would ultimately just seize small amounts of land and oil reserves. All that would do is tighten there grip on the Mediterranean, which lets face it, they don’t have to. Turkey would struggle even more than Russia, especially against a major NATO power such as France with its hi-tech, absolutely state of the art military hardware. I don't think it would be even funny.
Canada and Mexico would be both overwhelmed from the start by the Army and Air Force of the US.
I'm talking by heart without searching much, but to my knowledge the biggest flaws in the rest of that coalition are:
Argentina doesn't have a big or even good military.
Venezuela pretends to have a big military.
Cuba would like to pretend to have a military at all.
Brazil doesn't have medium or long range AA missiles, nor modern fighters, the best are F-5 modernized (36 Grippen underway, but even if it was 100... against the US... LOL), it has good industrial capacity and a big population, but it would serve very little if the US starts a blockade at sea and destroys some hidroeletric powerplants, it would be death by lack of energy.
Chile has good equipment, but not enough industry, nor strategic deep, neither population to resist for long.
Peru and Colombia are smaller versions of Brazil.
Ecuador is a smaller version of Peru and Colombia.
The only thing that Latin America could use and have some success in the sea would be submarines, they could score hits against surface ships, and with huge ammounts of good luck they could sink some important ships like transports, even aircraft carriers. On land, the same thing, pockets of guerrilla warfare in jungles and urban areas would be the biggest problem for the US.

we do have to consider the politics that will play out too. both greeks and turks are kinda fed up with their goverments so I believe a long war would be impossible. If the lives of the ppl are changed dramatically, a revolution from either side would not be out of the picture, and the war would end in approximately 4-5 months from its start. As a lot of comments have stated, rly almost no greek (I suppose it is same for turkish too) citizen likes war or the heat that exists between us, and after a hypothetical war starts it is quite likely that neither side will tolerate it. The two sides are quite equally matched with turkey having a numerical advantage, so the war would be expensive for both sides, and thus raising the disgust of the ppl for such a war even further. After a war like that my opinion is, that with both regions being unstable, and both sides getting to meet each other face to face (even if that will have heavy casualties) will result in both sides sympathising with the other, and with no massacre or war crimes being commited by either side, it is possible that a war like that however bloody it might be, will create an alliance between the two.

You don't know many details. Yes if France comes it will make it hard for Turkey but remember Turkey has very powerful drones sitting in Africa (specially Libya) and they will not allow any French ships to come. French ships were be destroyed before they even get closer. You also do not count the motivation of the soldiers and only think of it as machine war. When you are a soldier and see all your friend infront of you are dead you may not want to continue and went back home (this is a basic soldier mentality when you are far from your home). Turkish soldiers will be in the homeland but French will find themselves far from home.
You also do not count the Turkish war strategy. Turks will never take a land directly with their planes or ships. There is a military term called "yumuşatma" in Turkish. It means before Turks attack a place they make sure they send their drone army to destroy every possible enemy. If Turks enter in those islands that means enemy is half dead half wonded. It is not that simple to have a war with Turks. To understand me better check the history and you will only learn out of 100 wars in Anatolia 98 were won by Turks. Even British succeded to take all over the world but they did not succeed when they had a war with Turks.
Lastly Turkey has a very strong defence industry and they do not show what they all have. They will show them only during the war!

One of the French government dignitaries tried to criticize Napoleon in a battle and ran his finger over the map:
    - You should have taken this first, then you should have captured the beyond by passing here, when he started to express ideas such as, Napoleon:
    - Yes, he said. If they could be fingered, I would do as you say.

A war between Turkey and Greece would inevitably become an EU matter, even if there is no direct operation, the EU countries would support Greece.

@tryndaOP If Greece gets involved in a direct conflict in their doorstep, I would surely have an economical, as more money needs to be inverted in the military, leaving other areas, like the industry, with a lower budget or focused on supporting the military and not making a real profit. Of course, this affects the whole union, who may answer with an embargo, economical sanctions for Turkey or indirect support for Greece.
Also, if France gets involved, it may draw the rest of the union, as it's the second economical and the first military force in the union.
