Laura and Aaron y’all are just the best!! I would rather watch y’all than anything on tv simply because the positivity and kindness y’all promote are a breath of fresh air in this world today. When my mom passed away in 2011 I lost my interest in gardening as it was one of the things we did together. Watching you and your mom reminds me of those times and has helped me find my passion for planting again. I have since started from scratch on our new property and have made a memory garden for my parents and other lost loved ones. I’ve planted their favorites and some things that simply remind me of their individual spirit. Now when I sit out there admiring the beauty I feel like they are all there having coffee with me. You have helped me find peace and a way to carry on the tradition of planting with love. Thank you so much!! And I can’t wait to see Christmas lights on these new trees. It is going to be spectacular!!

On an unrelated topic, is it possible to do an unnarrated (in the interest of preserving your time and pregnant self) low level drone tour of each of your planting areas? It would be so lovely to see a fall tour, but not at the expense of your energy. I know they are really time consuming for you, but so much appreciated. Thanks for the tree update! Much love! ✌🏻😉💚

It is nice to see trees been planting. Because here in my town in Louisiana we are in clean up mode after Hurricane Laura. No matter where you would turn trees were down. In the streets, in the yards fully up rooted, in and on the top of people homes, and some homes completely destroyed. There are still days that I wake up to the sound of a chain saw and retire to that same sound. It was 11 days after the hurricane that my electric power was restored. My cable and internet/home telephone service still has been restored. But no matter how hard our circumstances are now, I know he will see us through it all.

Lol, we know a bigger one is coming !! You deserve it Aaron - wonderful hard working patient man !! Are you going to have ground lights facing up on each tree? Also, are you going to do some type of border on the lane like brick? Beautiful project !!

Question though 🤔 I know directions usually say the holes should be twice the width of root ball & twice as deep then back fill the depth until you get the correct depth. I sure never dig a hole that size lol. Nor do I know anyone else that does. So why do directions usually state the 2 times??

Perfect timing not only does Laura not have to dig the holes but now you will always know how old the trees 🌳 are, they are the same age as your daughter. We planted a tree for each of our grandsons and the boys judge their height by their tree, the oldest a Colorado blue spruce is now 11 years old and taller than our oldest grandson Max. Your trees did get a head start given how tall they already are. Thanks for sharing all the information about the trees, we’ll be ordering two to replace a couple very old and very rotten trees we had to take down this year. I can’t wait to see the transformation of them the next year, it will be a great place to walk down memory lane with Benjamin and your little girl.

Yes seeds are important. A few of my neighbors have Maples. The kids love trying to catch the helicopter seeds but I spend the entire season cleaning them up and then pulling out little trees that seed everywhere.

I have a very large red maple, and some years the seeds are large and a decent amount of them. Other years, the seeds come down when they’re little, and come down in the millions! Both of them make tiny little trees that keep you busy pulling them out all summer and fall! 🤪🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱

Aaron it’s good to see you working with Laura on projects! You are so patient and you do such a great job! Like the Felco hat you were sportin too! As much as Laura uses those things it’s good to see they sent you something 😁 (Poor Laura is used to doing everything herself so I’m sure this is tough not being able to do these things for herself. She’s being a good sport about it) 💕

My father-in-law had electrical boxes installed along his fence line so that he could display his Xmas decorations. He had the boxes match his fence so you don't noticed the boxes.

what a fun video!! it's hard to express how someone like me, who's had the pleasure of meeting you only once, can get so excited for you and your family!! but i do... i just sit here watching and smiling and sometimes (nerd!) clapping for you.... you have been so generously sharing your life's adventures and goals and to see things accomplished just gladdens my heart so much... i'm trying to wrap my head around the mature size of those trees.. having a postage stamp yard with only a palm tree makes it a hard (and enviable) vision down here, lol... but oh my... i see your baby girl and Benjamin growing up and guess what: here comes that bridal carriage down that lane to a wedding in your garden... how's that for future planning??? congratulations on all you've accomplished, your million viewers, your beautiful family and garden... it's just so nice to be able to come along for the ride.... thanks for the video!!

Oh my word...cannot imagine the possibility of planting these maples without the machinery that Laura & Aaron are using...the elbow grease & all the back pain that accompanies digging for that many trees! Thank goodness for modern inventions! The yard will look awesome Laura! Cannot wait too see them change colour in the Falls. 🙏❤️🇨🇦

Hi Laura and Aaron! I really appreciate you showing the planting of the trees. I know you said you weren't going to, but it was fun to watch. It was nice seeing the one leaf at the end already with fall color. It looks so nice now, but I'm excited to see the leaves in full fall color. I'm so happy for you guys! It's always fun watching you do a project, especially on the new property, watching it all evolve. Thank you so much for deciding to share this process with us!

Wow, now that's an auger!! This is such a big deal on your land. It will make such an impact, and it's one of the biggest things done and checked off the list! What a good feeling at the end of summer. I love that you knew the holes were a bit too deep right away and then made Aaron do a little dance for us while you decided on the best angle for placement lol. So fun to watch it all coming together. I can't even remember how/why/who made me start watching you but this is my morning highlight each day now.
