I love to listen to how they communicate and how they have conversations on camera almost like no one is listening. It is a beautiful thing.

You should try and buy from a Catalog, if you're in the USA, they are small plants but inexpensive

@@wifemommeboblife3657 my local Walmart is notorious for getting little trees straight off the truck and into direct sun. That usually means they scorch and go on clearance. I got a pretty sizeable Kwanzan cherry for $6 which looked like a stick in the ground for a season and now is bursting with blooms and foliage. Sometimes the savings are worth the patience it takes!

You could tuck a lil playhouse/fort/playground in there for the Little ones to make magical memories. Can't wait till you at least get the walkway/driveway mulched so your vision is clearer for me. You're SO CREATIVE that I know it's gonna be gorgeous (even if it's difficult for me to see right now). 😊💜

Seeing Paul was really interesting. I have no idea why but I was seeing a retired silver haired gentleman with loads of gardening experience doing all of these amazing things and coming up with all of these great ideas! So cool to see such a young man with a head full of practical knowledge and ideas. Well done Paul!

It’s incredible to witness from the outside in. The Joy is how you & Aaron continue to persevere & shine through while you share with us all.
I can’t wait to look back at these videos and notice how Benjamin, and soon little Samantha, will have grown up in front of the camera playing in this garden from its humble beginnings to the ever growing grandeur that is planned for its future. I’m so excited to see all the ideas come to life.
It's going to be magical! Who else brings out their own sketch book and pencils whenever Laura shows the next potential area? 😄 I love sketching different plans and styles . It's usually pretty close to what they put in, because my yard and theirs are very similar in style. Mine is just much smaller!😂😂

All of the trucks on your property remind me of a MUCH SMALLER job we did when our 21 year old son was 5. We took pictures of the equipment and pictures of him sitting in the equipment, parked. That little photo album sat on his night table until he moved away from home. He’s back home now, visiting and searched for that photo album. It is a precious time and I recommend this to you, for Benjamin.

So many beautiful trees! You should look into getting a Ginkgo biloba tree. The leaves are so unique- they get huge, but you have the space.😉 We brought in a few to sell at our garden center this year- I just love looking at them every day!

I would group it with a standard ninebark I have and a new lilac I just found with variegated foliage, 'Aucubaefolia'. Oh my! I don't even care if it blooms, that foliage is stunning.
Oh I'm so happy you guys got the trees planted. They are going to be so much happier. I love the part where you Laura was talking about the secret space for the kids. I can picture strawberries in that space and fairy gardens. So so exciting.
