I've been waiting for a either a Spanish or English version to appear at a reasonable price.
Reasonable, being cheap. Patience, I tell myself. Patience. Book resources are presently going into more Crepax books.
Fantagraphics will release The Compete Crepax Volume 1 this week, for example, and, fingers crossed, I may have secured a an even better buy. Maybe.
And speaking of Crossed, I found more single issues this past weekend.

looking at late Mr. Gimenez’s science fiction art it’s clearly much more fiction than science.
Most of the other giants of Metal Hurlant included too-but i don’t like seeing wind up toys in a pilots helmet.
that‘s a quite harsh yet somehow comprehensible and funny description… yes, my very first impression was quite similar, but the art grew on me fastt
Local publisher started printing this in parts and after not enough people bought first part they just decided to not print more and I ended with only first part. Full book is on my wish list but its not main priority.

the INCAl , the Colorist are different in my 2 books...... cool.....

Das Comic hat nur einen einzigen Nachteil: *DER PREIS ;)*
Für 400 Seiten 78€ zu verlangen ist wahrlich happig !
Andere Comics auch im guten Hardcover mit 500 Seiten kosten ca. 50€
Entweder das Papier und die Bindung ist EXTRA-Deluxe und hebt sich von andren guten Comic ab, oder da wurde ein Fan-Aufschlag drauf gepackt ;)
Überformat hat es ja auch nicht, wie die 2 Dan Dare Comics die es in Deutsch zu kaufen gibt !
Nicht falsch verstehen, ich habe das Geld, nur ist mir nicht klar warum das so teuer ist im Vergleich zu anderen Comic die auch gut in ihrer Ausführung sind !
Wenn ich mir dann auch noch überlege das ich dafür die 2 hier dafür bekomme, dann ist es echt sehr teuer:

Und die sind mit Sicherheit von gleich guter Qualität und anscheinend sogar flächenmäßig größer !
Es ist sogar das teuerste Comic welches ich kenne, was man neu kaufen kann !
Wobei mir einfällt das das hier sogar teurer ist, wenn man nach der Seitenanzahlt geht:
