I'm about to tackle this job, thank you for thr guidance!
No problem at all. Best of luck to you. It's not to bad of a job
Good info. I'm going to try to put 3 inch pipe with those headers(except ceramic coated) in my 78 F250 4x2. I knew I was going to have to do something about that cross member. The shift linkage I did not think about. And maybe use a smaller starter like those gear reduced ones.
I'm glad this was helpful. Good luck to you on your build
on my 77 F250 4x2 I did not have to modify anything. I used the hooker header back kit for the dual exhaust. ( I did use a powermaster starter that has a housing that can be moved around for clearance)
What is the header part number and do you think these would fit on a 351m 2wd four speed?
12506 FLT is the part number for the 4x2. I was able to find them at Oreilly's.
Jaydondiem did you get these? If so did they work with your 4 spd??
@mechtrician I did not get them yet sorry but my heads will be coming back from the machine shop soon so I'll tell you then
@mechtrician I put them in my truck and they fit with no problems besides being a little close to the starter. You also have to move the clutch return spring but thats not hard at all
Judging by all the leaks you have other things to do than put headers on. This is even a four wheel drive, quit complaining.
How about you go work on your grammar and watch another video
@@VlogsByWes so i missed a comma and a question mark, thanks for pointing that out. As said before, its a two wheel drive truck, quit complaining. Did i miss any any commas Mr English professor?
