I have a 2003 S80. Bought March 2014 with 49,000 miles for £1,500. Now 69,500! A really great looking beauty of a car. Immaculate inside and out. Like it just came off the factory floor. So comfortable. Long live Volvo!

I have 2001 Volvo s80. It makes me feel like agent 007. It's great on gas. The engine is flawless. Everything works great! I only wish it was faster on take off. Other than that I love my S80

I've a 04 2.5t S80 and it is the most wonderful car EVER! I've owned many cars and this is by far my fave. SN: The surround sound system by Dolby is mind numbingly fantastic. Best luxury car ever and as reliable as TIME!

I agree. The new ones are even more amazing. My s80 like many also communicates with you which I guess at the time was not done with many cars. The s80 will diagnose it self giving you information and warnings if serious maintenance issues. a very sophisticated vehicle.

2018 April. I own 2000 Volvo S80. Miles 64K in 18 years. The car is excellent condition. Period.

You should try driving it. A considerable amount of wear and breakdown comes from time alone.
The belts are only good for a max of 7~10 years, oil only good for a year or so, transmission fluid for about 10 years (drain and fill only need), etc... Make sure you treat all of the plastic and rubber pieces as well. A garaged car will have much fewer of the age-related issues, but there are plenty of them.

It has a twin turbo straight 6. The top speed is only limited to 155 mph due to winter tire speed rating.
