Don't newer engines have to have a diagnostic reset so that nothing is lost on the changeover. Radio, windows etc

Exactly what I was thinking. In some cars after you reconnect the battery the warning lights have to be reset. Theres usually a trick to it. On my VW you turn the steering wheel all the way left then right and back to center to clear the codes. Do Hyundai’s have to be reset? That’d be important to know.
