Epic Comeback or Epic Choke which is more likely?

- The Florida Panthers jumped out to a 3-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Final but now they have to go back to Edmonton for game 6. So the question I ask here is are the Oilers winning or are the Panthers choking it away?

I remember in 1997 and 1998 when the Red Wings were 3-0 against the Flyers and capitals and the broadcasters were bringing that 1942 series up. Sweeps are kind of rare and the Stanley Cup final. That’s why it’s not a really brought up.
Only reason that sweep happened in '42 was because the head coach punched a ref and got ejected. It would take another assassination attempt on Barkov to stop the Panthers and I don't see the refs allowing that to fly again.

I hope that the Panthers win but I agree with you in that if the Panthers lose, then they are finished.

Did you also believe the Bruins were "crushed" in 2010 when they wasted a 3 - 0 lead? Only to win the Stanley Cup the next year.
As a Panthers fan, I promise you they 1000% still have it. They have 1-2 awful games every series. They gotta all be playing at the top level or they get rolled. McDavid has also never won a series that had even an 0-2 deficit. Right now, the Oilers have been winning the mental game, but McDavid and Drai both tilt extremely easy. It won't be hard for FL to stop their momentum with a little frustration.

@@shanewilson8728 Oilers just have no stress because they know they don't belong. Their fans are just hyped out of this world that they are even in the SCF. Panthers have had a 2 year run stomping teams. They will figure it out and take the cup.
