Wasn't her husband, a police officer, on the scene ? Does he have any culpability ?
No he was off duty when the shooting started. Went to the scene when he heard about the event because his children were there
Yes he was there for at least half an hour in the hallway armed to the teeth. She forgot to mention that in address to Congress. Perhaps they didn't bank on the hallway footage being released at the time. She also said in Congress he was with her running around barefoot from place to place trying to find their daughters where abouts. Wouldn't he have known she was deceased since he was there when they finally breached classroom?

@@whonoseanyway9242by the time he arrived it was already too late, he wanted to go in but the officers wouldn’t let him as seen in the body cam footage they escort him out. I’m sure he replays that scene over and over in his head and blames himself which he is not at fault for.
@@db9071 because her husband was off duty that day and when he arrived it was already too late. They had to escort him out when he pointed that his daughter was in that classroom. I’m sure however despite it not being his fault he probably feels that much more guilty so let’s not fault him for it, the chief however believed that the kids were already dead and so he chose not to make the call to go in, that goes against what they are trained for in a active shooter event.

Funny how all of these people wanna ban "Assault" rifles but forget handguns and shotguns do the same damage. Shotgun actually triples that damage compared to the rifle. Dumb people I swear
