It's to demonstrate destruction, the grenade is obviously overpowered for demonstration purposes.

@@madsanta7938 There are a couple of server often full, so yes there still are people with good tastes in ww2 first person shooters.. I started to play it last year because i recently bought a pc.. Feels so good even if it is an old game!

@@MG42- you should check out hell let loose, a little bit less hardcore and definitely needs improvement in some areas, but if you can get a good team that actually use voice chat you’ll have a good time

The largest drawback to rising storm being genius to me is the amount of frag grenades and artillery. I’ve sunk so many hours and know the combat and shooting mechanics are among the best.
But the amount of time spawning in and being obliterated by explosions you cannot see where they are coming from is beyond frustrating and breaks the immersion. It is a respawnint simulator on most servers
Well if you play the rising storm way, the game is very slow. but the time limit on the object force people to go fast. So you stuck with the spawning simulator where you damn if you don't rush and damn if you do. but play on modded server where the time is longer and the nade is limited, much better experience!
Watching the fences get shot down makes my computer feel very anxious.

Destruction is going to completely change the game. I hope they keep some objective buildings indestructible, because some of the fun of the game is just rushing into a narrow staircase as the enemy team makes their last stand against wave after wave of reinforcements.

can't put all eggs in one basket, the same goes with the company, you need to create new stuff to attract investors as well as buyer and maintain the game service for the current games to make the loyal customer keep coming back. You can't just milk on one game and expect to have money to pay for the staffs.

This is from the makers of Rising storm 2, so it will be really fast paced for a tactical shooter people will be very laidback and just play for fun. The reason I love rising storm so much is because it's very realistic and casual at the same time in too many tactical shooters you have salty milsim nerds who can't even run 5k or do a pull up IRL talking about military tactics like they spend 15 years in the military.
This is more like the original red orchestra with the vibe of operation flashpoint OG than the fast-paced of the Rising storm. Or at least that is what they described

it is! check out there channel, they toned up values for testing purposes, the destruction is also very early and most definitely will change. Check out there previous games for example rising storm 2: vietnam and look how polished it looks and that game was released in 2017, around 5 years later and this should be released, I cant wait once it is released ;)

Looks like an early version of classic Battlefield games like Bad Company 2 and BF3... Man those games used to be so good and obviously pioneers in this sub-genre.
I hope they add destructible terrain too. Would be awesome to take cover in foxholes/trenches made by artillery shells or dugout by players with shovels.

Good destruction physics however i hope they dont exaggerate it. Like you can see in 1:25 i think a frag alone cannot collapse a tower made of that just like that. If its a wooden made tower i can understand.
You know what is the biggest problem with realistic shooters for me ?
Visibility - in games where death usually means something , dying becuase you couldn't have a chance to see your enemy is always feels cheap . Not to mention that in most of these games - ADS always feels like it takes to much of your screen and you can barely see shit even before the first shot .

The concrete walls and glass are a little explodey for my tastes. Like you shoot once at the window and it explodes into a million pieces. and the concrete wall, with the AK, idk if there's something i'm missing like that being a grenade launcher or something but the wall goes boom when he shoots the AK at it. what?
Oh, and some guns phase into the hands a bit but they'll definitely fix that.

I am desperately awaiting the day we can see more than 100 simultaneous players and significantly larger maps. Feels like the hard limit on players just can't be beat - what about 1000 players in a large scale shooter in the same frame? One day, one day....
It can already be done, developers are just too lazy for the most part. We had 64 player servers back in 2003, and yet games have steadily gotten smaller since then.
A bluedrake is singular, but implies there are more drakes that are blue , and this is just one of them .

Seen the announcement for this a while back. Super excited. Just started playing Rising Storm 2 again earlier this week. They did great with the jungle maps, and asymmetrical warfare, so destruction in the next game will be wild.

A Rising Storm 80s cold era game is gonna slay my personal time away. Gentlemen if you are reading this, this is one of my last comments as a normal human being before 83 comes out.
Wish it had more involvement from Tripwire Interactive as I loved the gunplay and mechanics from Red Orchestra and Rising Storm. AFAIK Tripwire did the mechanics and gunplay while Antimatter did the gameplay in Rising Storm 2. Hope they can keep the same feeling of RS and RO even without Tripwire.
