J B I live in Dallas and he’s a radio personality here. He does what he calls “awkward interviews” with celebrities all the time but this one went wrong because he was too nervous. I remember listening to it in the car with my dad and all the other guys on the radio laughing at him. So yes, it was scripted but things didn’t exactly go to plan with the script...
This dude has balls. To play the awkward interviewer schtick to Galifianakis and pull it off so well takes courage and skill.

Why is it that nobody on the internet is capable of deducing when things happened relative to other things in time? This was clearly before Between Two Ferns even existed. Zach based his character on that show partly on the interviewer here.

Gordon Keith's delivery is what makes this interview so great. "Compare and contrast this film with all other films that have been made." he ends that with like a hard glottal stop so Zach's expecting more to the question.

It seems like Zack ripped off Gordon Keith (or was it the other way around?) for his Between Two Ferns series. Its almost exactly the same format. But its funny none the less. Basically Zacking out Zack.

Gordon Keith is on one of the top rated morning drive radio shows in the country. He's not trying to imitate Zach. Gordon has been doing uncomfortable interviews like this for the past 15 years on 1310 The Ticket, and he's a comedic genius. He thrives at making things as awkward as humany possible. Definitely one of the funniest people out there. So for those of you saying he's trying to imitate ZG and fails doing it, that's not at all what's happening.

I have watched a lot of Keiths interviews, but this is by far the best. It's brilliant because it's Zack, who started Between Two Ferns, and plays the same awkward interviewer. But it feels like Zack really don't see he is being pranked here, and responds authenticly. That just makes it that much more amazing. Penis.

Gordo insisting on shaking the guest's hand before every interview is the most Gordon Keith thing ever. 😂 He throws the guest off immediately which sets the tone for the slow-motion train wreck that follows.

The interviewer is Gordon Keith. He's a radio host on 1310 AM/96.7 FM aka "The Ticket" in Dallas, TX. This was a prank on Zach Galifianakis and Zach had no idea. So no, it is not "fake". It's real but it was a prank on Galifianakis. Praise Gordo!!! LOL greatness...
