Hello I was friends with Lakesha Levy. We were in the Air Force together and were classmates in medical laboratory training in Texas. She had a husband and a son whom she talked about all the time! She was later stationed in Oklahoma. Thanks for being brief and respectful of her memory.

I would like to throw in some more ideas: the left leg "mystery", who says no one was buried with one leg?? And then the missing leg was found. I'm sure SOME of the victims were buried without legs, with a missing arm, etc.

This made me think of something kinda crazy. Back in 2020 my parents got divorced and my entire family basically fell apart. In the middle of it happening, a few of my immediate relatives, including me, all completely cut ties with the family because of them being terrible people. We all moved far away and never spoke to them again. I'm thinking about how eerie it must have been to them, one minute you're dealing with a shake in the family because of divorce, the next minute, 5 of your relatives almost phase from existence. Ive already check with everyone, nobody mentioned to anyone what our plans were. It's been 3 years.

It's always absolutely heartbreaking to me, how people can die and no one ever notices they're gone. Like, I know some people intentionally isolate themselves from society and other people, but I have a feeling most just sort of wind up like that, as people fade out of their life and aren't replaced by new ones. Makes me feel like society should have some kind of safety net in place, to ensure that no one is ever truly alone who doesn't want to be 😭

Imagine being told your child is alive but in a coma, knowing that the other girl is dead and they had a funeral service for her, then when the girl you think is your child wakes up and says she is actually the other girl. How awful it must be realizing that they had the funeral for the wrong person and buried your daughter and you didn't even know it was her. I feel so bad for her parents.

I love coming back to vsauce videos bc you can tell he didn't make these videos just for the people at the time but he was also speaking to us now and people further in the future. it's a different vibe from most youtubers and still makes his videos relevant and so entertaining to watch to this day

Some people disappear because they are victims of violent crimes, such as being kidnapped, murdered, sold into trafficking, or are hiding from dangerous people, like stalkers or gangs.
Some, like you said, disappear due to tragic accidents. My heart was broken recently learning of a father and son who tragically died alone in an apartment. The single father suffered a massive heart attack and died. His son was only a 2 year old toddler. The toddler died sometime later due to malnutrition and dehydration. I don't remember if it was weeks or months before anybody reported them missing and a wellness check was done, which is how they were found. No signs of foul play.
Others disappear because they are evading capture/prosecution. Most murderers are never caught, or escape/evade capture.

Since they are so small, they are susceptible to getting sucked through the tiny crevices in the design of the dryer and/or washer. If you open it up, you will find them all. My great great Uncle was a POW in WWII and his wife married his friend bc they assumed he was dead, I guess. He didnt find out she remarried until he came home. She went back to my Uncle, but the other man committed suicide. He was also in the War.
