Did she pay for the licensing to use of any of the songs by others in her shows? Highly unlikely. And yet, she copywrote her "apology" song so she could claim when anyone else used that...
She doesn't need to get licensing since most likely the songs would fall under parody She's a horrible person and the parodies are awful, but they're still most likely fair use, and saying their not could hurt others (her copyright'ing her own song is fucking BS though, and I'm glad people called her out on it because fuck that kind of shit)

Its kind of a weird exception, considering both live shows and dvds are sold for money but ya, thats not morally or legally bankrupt or anything.
She sucks but the licensing for other peoples' songs is covered by blanket licenses all venues have, so anyone can perform any song they want at any time without having to worry about being sued for copyright. It's how artists are able to cover songs at regular concerts.

I have little doubt she’s been ready for this and probably building up lyrics to that song for years. Her being “terrified” Trisha Paytas would expose her for years AND Shane Dawson saying she’s his favorite because she’s messy AND being obsessed with cancel culture is all VERY telling.
She was also apparently PISSED at Shane for that clip of him talking about how shady and hateful she is lmfao. He talked about it on his podcast and someone dug it up on the snark subreddit. It’s crazy how she was actively taking every opportunity to be mean and cruel and a bully but desperately clung to her facade of being a super sweet person who’s friends with everyone.

I know that kids are getting easily amused by fart jokes, loud noises and music bits, but I most definitely blame the parents who encouraged them to watch something like that. Chaperoning their offspring to her 'shows' and laughing at Ballinger's borderline predatorial behavior toward the kids on stage. Those parents I'm talking about are part of the problem, a part of Ballinger's popularity. Rest assured that lots of her critics today are the same people who allowed all this to happen. She deserves all the critics- no question about it- but it's highly recommended not to overlook the entire picture.
I think your comment about her preparring her audience for her cancellation has some truth to it, makes sense its a song only kids would be fooled by and appealed to. She needs to be deplatformed
There are two kinds of people who complain about "cancel culture" 1. People who haven't actually done anything wrong but received death threats and slurs because the twitter users who don't go outside found them problematic somehow (example: that one woman who made the tweet about enjoying spending her mornings with her husband, any LGBTQIA+ who gets accused of "qu33r baiting" irl, etc.). 2. People with massive amounts of influence being called out for their abuse of power by the public and throwing a tantrum about it.
I will never understand the people whose idea of "creating a comedic character" is to make the nost obnoxious and rude person you can picture. Like, there's definitely some projection there.
As a halminton fan, the second i saw the stage of it I was like: There is no way she got a license to sing my shot, THERE IS NO SHOT SHE GOT A LICENSE FOR IT
You know, a CZcamsr with a built in audience probably could do a stage show about getting cancelled, but it would need a character arc where the person learns and grows and ultimately becomes a better person at the end. Like the person does something irresponsible to get cancelled and at first they refuse to accept it because they’re famous. Then as their life falls apart, they get humbled and are forced to really learn from their mistakes, and at the end maybe they don’t get their career back, but they take a new direction in life that they weren’t expecting. Hollywood has been making movies like that since before even our parents were born. But something like that would take actual talent to write and would require someone that wasn’t a creep.
it would be funny if it was like a clever joke abt people who think cancel culture is bad, does that make sense? like my assumption would’ve been “oh she’s making miranda a caricature of people who actually get mad at wokeness” but no…that’s just colleen.
Funny thing about this tour is she was rushing writing it. Like I think she finished it right before she started touring it lmao. She talks about it on her vlog channel lmao.

I think your comment about her preparring her audience for her cancellation has some truth to it, makes sense its a song only kids would be fooled by and appealed to. She needs to be deplatformed
I remember watching her Netflix show out of curiosity…it wasn’t good. I stopped watching when the mother and uncle starting to like eachother🤮
The fact that they didn't even cut out the background of the cancelled graphic 😭
No way she’s still doing the Miranda character, i thought she stoped in like 2015. That’s so embarrassing, she’s like 40
That whole "cancelled" video is the most disrespectful thing I've seen in a long time. God, I hope the victims get justice.
There are two kinds of people who complain about "cancel culture"
3:24 She even got the like ratio pretty accurate 💀 is she secretly omnipotent and making the best worst “apology” ever
I will never understand the people whose idea of "creating a comedic character" is to make the nost obnoxious and rude person you can picture. Like, there's definitely some projection there.
I mean, sometimes it works, but not every comedian is Neil Hamburger.
She thinks she's Andy Kaufman, without understanding that Andy Kaufman's characters weren't supposed to be the guys you root for.
The way he went “oh no” when a little kid went on stage without pants i just lost my shit
As a halminton fan, the second i saw the stage of it I was like:
There is no way she got a license to sing my shot, THERE IS NO SHOT SHE GOT A LICENSE FOR IT
How to avoid cancel culture: Don’t groom kids.
As a theater kid the entire "broadway musical" bit made me want to throw myself off a building
"to all the women watching this - this one's for you" thanks Pinely
this aged so badly that it aged badly.
it would be funny if it was like a clever joke abt people who think cancel culture is bad, does that make sense? like my assumption would’ve been “oh she’s making miranda a caricature of people who actually get mad at wokeness” but no…that’s just colleen.
There is no way she got permission to use that music, especially not the Disney stuff. She's going to get mega-sued.
Funny thing about this tour is she was rushing writing it. Like I think she finished it right before she started touring it lmao. She talks about it on her vlog channel lmao.
7:44 And I didn't think I was going to be spending my morning watching Pinely watching it. But watching Pinely instead of the original is 10x better so yeah
11:05 I'm out, I'm sorry, I know I almost made it to the end but I think watching any more of Miranda Sings will genuinely kill me. You are CZcams's greatest soldier and I commend you.
The best forshadowing I have ever seen. Yes, it was extremely entertaining. Thank you Pinely for showing us this masterpiece. I wish I could give you a thousad likes
"And this, children, is what it looks like when someone goes over the deep end."
The fact that she did this AFTER Adam came out with his initial video that she sent her fans to attack him for makes this even more disgusting….
No no this is her 2022 performance thats why it aged poorly it wasnt from this year
@@nelsonwilkins347 Adam’s initial video was in 2020
if she's joking about covid we should go back to covid rules of no public events so this show can't exist
Well, the rest of this year's Miranda Sings tour has itself been cancelled, so I guess this is fitting in one respect.
How is it that we didn't see this coming?
Mainly that most of us hadn't heard of her.
God, even her parody apology was better than her "real" one.
Korey’s life being living with Colleen’s family, being a weird background clown at her embarrassing Highschool level productions and being horrible to underaged teens, YIKES YIKES YIKES
ps: besides the point but, you reacting to this made me smile so much 😂
Fart joke pre- fake apology, followed by "You're not wearing any pants".
I couldn't stand the clips. I have no idea how anyone could watch that whole show. I don't think you could pay me to sit in a chair at that show.
"Baby Ricky Gervais" WHY IS IT TRUE THOUGH
How can you even talk about canceling for more than an hour? So tedious...
Her shows watch like a high school talent show that your teacher decided to join.
how can the people in the audience not get bored by this show?
also, i wasn’t expecting the james marriott at the end i have to say
Never heard or seen her before all this...just HOW did no one find this stuff questionable??? 😫😭
Not even a minute in and im rolling my eyes so hard it hurts, oh boy i am in for a hell of a video huh
I can’t wait for Colleen’s fox nation comedy special in six months
I did actually laugh out loud multiple times during the clips you showed but I doubt for the reasons she expected
11:08 Thanks Pinely
Nooooooo!! Why did I have to hear a clip of that horrible Part of Your World parody! 😭(7:30)
evil pinely, you did not have to watch this for us, but thank you for your service
Brooo the outro music is amazing 🍇
