I live 3 hours from Sam’s club and Costco, I got a Sam’s club plus membership it was on sale for $70. I cans get many items free shipping grocery items not the fresh or frozen ones but shelf stable foods. I am stocking as finances allow several times a month.
True about the shipping changes in August. But the membership price has gone down to $60, $20 for the basic. I'm thinking of getting the $20 instead of the higher one, since in August you'll be able to get free curbside with $50 purchase. I have limited mobility and that would help me a lot. A lot of good deals and options out there for many things, you just have to take time to look for it. Hip2Save page is where I found the info about the Sam's deal, but they have deals on everything. I also receive their emails if not on FB.

If you use a pill splitter to cut up regular aspirin into quarters, you have 4 low dose ones. Sure they aren't chewable cherry or orange flavored, but a Dollar store bottle of 100 will turn into 400 low dose. Pretty good trade off. I took care of my elderly mother for over 10 years and this was one of the ways to save.
Grocery prices are high yes but if you plan and prepare in a certain way you can still eat nutrient dense foods and cut your food budget some and stop wasting food. There is a system to it that has helped me immensely.
@@hiddenhand6973 use a price book for the foods you buy so you will know when it's on a good sale and that's when you buy it and you have to buy as many as you can so you don't have to buy that item until it goes back on a good sale. Not only sale items but always check the clearance isles too❤. A price book helps you know weather it's a real sale or not. My example is chicken. My lowest price for chicken thighs and drum sticks are. 99 cents a lb and that's when I buy at least 10 packages to last until the next time it goes on sale. It's a little hard to get started but after a few sales you get use to doing it and it just becomes the way you shop. There are so many different ways to save on shopping but this is a start. I bought a manual coffee grinder. I have been storing it in mason jars with oxygen absorbers. It will stay fresh longer than leaving in the original bag. This was a shock to me. Each and every month I order approximately $200.00 worth of groceries and things like pj's etc. Been doing this for years. The other day I went to send my order in and what do I see....the computer has upped quantity on several items I'm about to order. 1 has now become 4. I was shocked and cancelled some items and re-adjusted on others. Min. Of #1 has now become four. What? So I sent my order in and usually it comes in 2 days. Not any more. Six days for delivery and I am paying Prime membership for years. You need to police Everything.
It's taking longer and longer to get my Prime orders too. They say it will arrive on a certain day when I order. When that day rolls around, I get an email saying it's on its way but is being delayed. Normally not earth shattering but I often plan trips out of town around those orders.

I've canned butter and dislike the grainy texture even if you shake it. Ghee though... takes a bit longer but so so much better.
