My advice is buy canned meats. Not ring pull cans, but fully sealed cans. WEF are now taking pledges from countries to reduce meat consumption by at least 30% in the next 5 years. That means farmers going out of business, little or no meat availability, or prices you just can't afford.
I learned to pressure-can a few years back simply to can meat, and I did. I have also grabbed every good buy I found on cans, concentrating on corned beef and tuna/salmon, but others, including chicken and sausage, mackerel, and sardines.
I don’t eat meat, I haven’t for 13 years. However, I think everything affects everyone and I don’t understand why they are trying to reduce meat consumption in the first place? But even if they did, that would still affect even those who don’t eat it because people will be eating more non meat foods. That means more needed to go around. Some might even start eating meat substitutes more which will make those scarcer. I don’t think they should be messing with our food system in the first place, no matter what your diet preferences. They are messing with non meat too. Quality goes down price goes up. Ingredients changing, less vegetables per package, fast rotting produce, it’s not just meat that’s getting messed with. They need to stop

I am constantly reorganizing, inventory, and prioritizing the next most important step. Water, food, clothing, security, weapons, training, communications, medical, comfort, power, fuels, etc.
Kroger is clearancing out a lot of canned meats and prepared meat foods, like Hereford roast beef, Marie Callendar's chili, Kroger canned tuna, and more. I'm planning a fairly big trip to Sam's. We loaded up with clothes as soon as we could: Underwear, socks, regular clothes, jackets/coats, shoes, boots.

just opened 2 cans of Campbells chunky soups for lunch and both the steak/potato and chicken broccoli potato soups were so watery almost no meat. Yikes.

I will be ordering extra cases of water for the next few months, just to make sure I have enough. I wonder if all these bad storms lately are impacting water sales. They could be sending cases of water to all the places that have been hit hard. If you live in hurricane alley like I do, please start stocking water now. When a storm is coming, it will be too late. I noticed shrinkflation on the Sam's toilet paper. The individual roll wouldn't fit on my roller because it was too large, but the next pkg I bought the individual roll now fit because it was smaller. I'm talking about their big packages of toilet paper. But, with the savings on their tires (100$ off 4), paper products, trash bags, and packages of pre-cooked bacon, etc. the savings pays for the membership. I love DelMonte! I'm glad I watched your video before it was gone. I use vinegar for so many uses. I don't use fabric softener or sheets. I use vinegar and it works great and doesn't leave any vinegar smell. Sam's has the pack of 2 gallon jugs for 5.98. That is as cheap as I have found it. Blessings❤
Was at Costco before the holiday and they had four pack kinda small rib eye steaks for $85!!! I didn't look at price per pound because I was busy picking my teeth back up off the floor after they fell out at that price. 😳
My husband and I are eating less to stretch the food. Every week I try to buy extra canned meat and or peanut butter. My husband was going to retire last year but he won’t be retiring till next year reason being because of all of the inflation. I've been seeing that for a long time with the van camps pork and beans. I switched to the great value pork and beans last year. All the cans I bought of those are filled to the top with beans, and they were cheaper ( I think about $.88).

I live alone so I can in half pints. It adds up fast.

If having distilled water is a matter of life or death, you should investigate countertop electric or stovetop distillers. Basic models arent expensive. There are fancy expensive models too.

i am about 24 miles away and she decided she wanted something we don't have so i ordered it from sam's this morning. we will have it tomorrow with our meal. It only cost $5.98 it was free fedex delivery shipping. just cannot figure how they can do that. normal shipping fee they said was almost as much as we paid for the item. oh we had sams cash on our account so we didn't even pay for the item either directly this time.

I think there is a date on the bottles. About a year I think. I had some gallons stored in the basement. Went to use them at near expiration, and they definitely didn't taste good anymore. Probably were still safe to drink and use, but not tasty. One of those things to keep rotating.
Be sure when you are storing water it is not directly on the cement. Actually, any drinks. It does cause the contents to go bad. We like to use pallets, but a layer or two of cardboard will also work.
Walgreens has canned salmon, 14.75 wild caught boneless skinless for 2/$7.00. Canned meats are so costly so I was thrilled to find this deal. With this high inflation I now check the weekly ads for CVS and Walgreens along with the grocery stores. Always on the lookout for the best deals. That size can is about 3.25 at sams. I think that you got a pretty good deal at Walgreens. I definitely feel like I am spending twice as much time checking prices, online and ads. Many reports of less substance, more fluids in canned food. You will have to let me know if you are seeing it. I still make soup from scratch.

Check ALL STORES for food sales, even home improvement places are selling foods. They use them as loss leaders to get people in the stores.
