Scania, scania 140, puunajoa, Pentti Varpamäki. X-1R
Illaksi Kemiin. Elettiin -70 lukua ja tuli V8t..
Ns. välimitat oli keppimitalla..
Piirturin käyttökin oli vapaaehtoista..
Polttoainekulut oli 15% tietämissä...
Ja muutenkin puunajossa oli kunnon meininkiä... esim kuorman viemisestä sai "voimapaperia" ja uudet kuljettajat tulivat aina "vänkärin ovesta".
Huolto ja remonttikulut oli kohtuullisia..
Työnantajat piti työntekijöitäkin ihmisinä...
Sitten myöhemmin tuli voitelua parantamaan X-1Rn voieteluaineet..
Ps. kyllä scanian perät ja navat remontin välit pelaa oikeenni hyvin, vaikka ne savolaeset jossain raskaskalustossa toesi väettää....

My favorite Scania and then the 1st conventional built with that wonderful DS 14 V-8(Germans & Volvo are still trying to catch up, couldn’t so the had to buy AB SCANIA VABIS). I am so sorry that it ended that way. My two other favorite Scania Vabis products were the Scania Vabis 55(D8 & DS8) & the Scania Vabis (D11 & DS11). We had a company here in New England that ran both 55 series straight jobs & 75 series tractors for long periods of times along with both Mack MB straight jobs & Mack MB tractors with Scania Vabis D8 & DS8 engines(that of course was long before US truck manufacturing fell all apart & that other Swedish Company took over & cheapened up Mack Trucks Inc). We only have one American truck company left building 2 brands (Peterbilt & Kenworth). The other Import owned, engineered, designed & profits removed from the United States economy are building cheaper bottom line trucks. The New England based company was Holmes Transportation of Framingham, Mass who ran the Scania Vabis units into the early 1970s & the Mack MBs into the late 1980s. I believe the Scania fleet was built originally in 1958 & the Mack MBs started in the mid 1960s.You have a magnificent Scania 140 here,I am sure it serves you well and you take extraordinarily care of it. Do you actually use it or was the load for a truck show?

On noudatettu liikennesääntöjä, leikkasin 54,13 sekunnin pätkän pois välistä tyhjää seisomista ja näyttää täs et ei pysähdy mut alkuperäisessä leikkaamattomas videos seisoo paikallaan 52,14 sekuntia ja odottaa väliä et tielle voi turvallisesti mennä.
