    I would add revisit the mural next to the Haven area whenever you get sand jars. The rewards are very helpful.

    Beginner's guide for "Prince of Persia":
    1. Master parrying.
    2. Seriously, keep mastering parrying.
    3. Did we mention parrying? Master that too, just in case.

    Imho a beginner's guide shouldn't show too much late game stuff

    • @AttnDefDis_
      @AttnDefDis_ Před 4 měsíci +1

      Are you saying you think this guide is showing late game stuff? Because all of this is very early stuff.

    • @johanandersson8646
      @johanandersson8646 Před 4 měsíci +5

      @AttnDefDis_
      Having ten different Athra surges, of which three are level 3, is not early stuff.
      A very long energy bar is not early stuff.
      Almost 17000 time crystals is not early stuff.
      Having 30 arrows is not early stuff.
      All those found amulets are not early stuff.
      Having two necklaces with fully upgraded amulets is not early stuff.
      All this was just the first six minutes. I stopped watching after that because you spoiled to much for me.

    • @AttnDefDis_
      @AttnDefDis_ Před 4 měsíci

      @johanandersson8646 Huh, alright. I wouldn't consider any of that spoilers, but to each their own. None of the stuff he said was beyond the first few hours. I'm just curious, do you expect people who've only been playing a few hours to be the same people who give you tips? I ask because I don't see how that would work.

    • @johanandersson8646
      @johanandersson8646 Před 4 měsíci

      @AttnDefDis_ The main thing in a metroidvania for many is the exploration and what you can find(upgrades and such) and not the story. Story is usually not a strong element in this genre(often the land is cursed).
      To answer your question, it's easy. Play the game, finish it. Then start up a new save file and show footage from that.

    • @AttnDefDis_
      @AttnDefDis_ Před 4 měsíci

      @@johanandersson8646Yes, showing off footage from a brand new save sounds super entertaining. Anyway, good luck with your tip video search, man.

    Why would anybody play or buy a Ubisoft game after that greedy Ubisoft executive said gamers need to get used to not owning their games its beyond me that people still support these clowns

    • @ts5368
      @ts5368 Před 4 měsíci +5

      Because most of us actually read the article where he was misquoted. Do you still buy CDs or DVDs? Do you still rent physical disc movies? Or, like most people these days, are you subscribed to some streaming services like Netflix or HBO? My guess is it's the latter. That's basically what he said, since most of us don't buy physical CDs and DVDs anymore, they can see the trend that most gamers are getting comfortable with owning digital games instead of physical - That's just the trend of the world, and basically what he was saying. Doesn't mean that there aren't gamers who still enjoy physical copies (myself including 😉) , but he merely stated a lot of us are comfortable with enjoying streaming services in other media, and therefore we (the consumers) are driving the trend of having digital catalogues of games via subscription services.
      Plus Ubi games are fun, I'm having a blast with Prince of Persia 💪

      @htpkey Před 4 měsíci

      @@ts5368 I think that a lot of people take issue with the fact that you are paying money for a game that you may not be able to replay a decade later. It's worse if it's a single-player only game.

    • @ts5368
      @ts5368 Před 3 měsíci +1

      @htpkey true as that may be, the analogy still holds (even if it's unfortunate). Last night, I wanted to watch some more of The Office, until I realised that it's suddenly been removed from HBO Max in my region. Happens all the time that shows get removed from streaming services and it sucks, but people aren't revolting when that happens the way some "gamers" do about the same type of issue with games.

    • @htpkey
      @htpkey Před 3 měsíci

      @@ts5368 It is not analagous. When it comes to most games, you are paying money to play that specific game. In a video streaming service you are paying to access their entire video library.

    • @ts5368
      @ts5368 Před 3 měsíci +1

      @htpkey which is exactly what Philippe Tremblay, director of subscriptions at Ubisoft was speaking about... Ubisoft+ , you know, their subscription service where you get access to the whole Ubi catalogue of games and can play/stream any game you want when you want...
      I don't think you read the article either mate, which is what my original post was about. Too many people running with a story from a misquoted interview, and forming strong opinions based on clickbaity headlines from something taken out of context.
      Go read the interview if you're interested.
