As an Interior Designer, may I make a suggestion? Take your throw and fold it so it is 1/3 the size of the length of your bed. Then put the throw at the end of the bed.... very much like a good hotel does. This is for you to put your feet on when you want to just lounge on your bed, plus it does break up the mass of the white. Also, I was very impressed with your eye for photography in your own personal book. Why not take some of those photos and frame a series of them for your bedroom, OR take photos of vistas in some of Edinburgh's parks that have a lot of green so that it compliments your bedroom? Photos, rather than art might give you the more modern touch you are looking for, plus, it would be YOUR photos! One last touch would be some brass: maybe a bowl or candlesticks if you get a small tea table for your settee at the end of your bed. Otherwise, you have a wonderful start and I know it will be a joy to live in and complete over the years. Good job! Thanks for sharing.

I was thinking the same ! I am not an interior designer but I get inspiration from now and there which I like and have implemented the bottom of the bed throw blanket, which totally change the look of my bedroom…

Your choice of green is excellent, it creates something enfolding and cocooning, as well as soothing and restful.
You have elegant aesthetic. I really like the tufted headboard and the amber glass lamps.

I liked the comment by Page Remick who suggested your photography for your bedroom. You have talent and why not surround yourself with some of those gorgeous locations. You can have some enlarged to really make a statement! ❤️

You slipcovered the sofa! Nice. It’s probably cliche but also true as I’ve seen it: every room needs a pop of red/orange and a bit of black as an anchor. I think a rug with some of those would be really nice. 😊

Enjoyed your tour very much, of course. I loved your home the first time I saw it, and I also like your new direction. The hall would be pretty with the William Morris wallpaper I've seen on Amazon. I'd add a console bookshelf or table with a pretty lamp (maybe crystal) , a sculpture, and perhaps a bit of variegated greenery. On the wall I'd have a mirror to reflect more light, perhaps with pictures alongside or maybe just a large, colorful modern painting or an arrangement of pretty plates. Whatever you do, it will be a success! Thank you so much for sharing with us. It's always such a pleasure!

Yes definitely, a traditional rug with red, green and gold would add depth and richness to the scheme. Also coloured throw or quilt across the end of the bed. A painting above the bed bringing in all the colours would look great I think.
I was going to say, Turkish rugs in those colors would be the perfect addition.

I love that you framed a print of your botanicals and have more to offer! I agree that two would be better suited above the bed. If your botanical prints don’t end up in your bedroom I do hope they will be hung in a special place that is a reminder of all you have accomplished! The artwork on your products are so lovely! Your bedroom is really coming along! I hope you decide to add a rug, as layering and additional texture would be nice! Whether it has bolder reds or is more in the muted greens, creams and smokey golds, a bit of pattern will add a bit of cozy. 😍🥰😍

Another pillow in the middle, in front of the two pillows, I think would give it a three dimensional appearance and also add a little darker green throw across the bed. I Love that you put the throw over the arm of your chair. It gives such character and depth and I adore your headboard and pillows. Looking forward to seeing your updates for your bedroom.😍

Oh Nicolas, as always, this video does not disappoint! Love what you are doing with your bedroom do-over and so impressed with keeping to a budget! Most recently, I have started creating small area rag rugs on a handmade wooden loom and I get all my fabric from clothing at our local thrift stores. It is so relaxing to weave these rugs and quite honestly, they have the best look because they are unique and also very trending on the decorating scene right now. I learned all about creating the loom and weaving all from CZcams videos! Your almond cake looks scrumptious! Thanks again for your calming and interesting videos!

I think if you painted your 2 drawer unit eggshell green colour from cushions the lamps would look good. Also desenio do great prints from £10 good luck finding other pieces

The lamp color is so subtle , but so spot on with the color of the pillows. Love the textural element the pillows bring. I could see a wood, rattan or marble nightstand tray for the lamp and accessories to add even more texture. Can't wait to see you keep addong your special touches.
