- www.balticaa.com/ Next week Baltic Aviation Academy's (Vilnius, Lithuania) students are coming back to the classrooms to continue learning process for ATPL license obtainment. This time Pranas Drulis, ATPL Integrated student at Baltic Aviation Academy, will demonstrate how the flight on Tecnam is conducted.

Hey, to clarify, I do not have the CPL and IR yet. ATPL Integrated is the program name, which goes from zero to CPL+IR+ME+ATPL theory. Currently I have gone through the (mostly) visual flight training on the Single Engine aircraft, where I went solo as well as with the instructor covering a lot of practical subjects. :)
i just started watching your vidz, just thank you.
Camera angles / video great
Explanations great
You just can't make it any better.
You guys, are awesome!
Don't stop posting!!!
Nice Job Pranas and Robertas ;) .
God I miss already our Technams and miss flying.
yes. there is also a 3rd throttle handle, in the rear baggage compartment.
Love Pranas!
Good job Pranas.
Awesome! Thank you!
Amazing !
Very professional job Pranas! I would fly with you anytime.
The plane is so qute.
amazing !
WELL DONE PRANAS!! =)
Jėga Pranai! Gerai pilotuoji.
awesome man..!!
Nicely explained
I'm really looking forward to see you a captain , and I can hardly wait to be a pilot ,,, I wanna learn more about ACARS and SELCAL , can you do a demonstration on the A320 for the ACARS and SELCAL ? if you don't mind for sure
Great landing.
Thank you :) The taxi speed does look fast, but I would blame the camera angle. I wasn't doing more than 10-12 knots :) And about the strobe lights - the Tecnam doesn't have a beacon light, so the strobe lights are used instead. Normal procedures :)
Pranas,Can you do a video on communication!
Just wondering what type of airspace is at the control zone at your home field. I did not notice you putting your transponder on before take off or putting it to standy after landing? Is there no requirement for a Mode C transponder at your airport?
My guess is that the mic was on the rec camera, it proly was one or 2 mics max therefore quality wasn't the best due to the noise on the background. We can hear the radio with better quality because it's at high volume + the radio itself cuts most of the noise.
how is that plane called! I wanna buy me one!
why was your audio so distorted but we could hear ATC very clearly.
very nice plan i wanna owne that one some day
No apologies, you are correct, I am not logging any of my simulator hours, nor have I ever flown on any of those as a student. I am really grateful that they do allow me into the boxes and let me abuse them, but they don't really need to!
great
positive indications
In which city is the Baltic aviation academy ?
because the aircraft is doing a simple circut so this is like the equivalent of "Cleared for take off."
I think the only differences are in the certification of the aircraft by their instruments. But I am not sure :)
Why is everything moving like water?
Why no aviators Pranas? :)
In Vilnius(Lithuania capital city)
Isn't it a Tecnam P2002JF?
He turned it on when he was holding short at approximately 4:17.
where are sunglasses !?
Wondering why no single word (or action) about using a carburator heat...
He said he would not use carb heat
I thought, what kind of simulator is this? It is so realistic.
Landing gear wash 12:43 :)
Cool, but "Take-off/landing at your discretion; After take-of turn left" - is it correct phraseology? Because it's first time i hear it that way.
No it is not. If the airport is controlled an explicit takeoff clearance is mandatory. So "cleared for take off" is the correct phraseology. But in this case I believe the airport is towered but not controlled, so all departures are at pilot's discretion.
Tecnam 2002 Sierra
Why did Pranas hold the nose up altitude after landing??
+Váróczy Csongor Runway was very bumpy so he held it up so to not damage the nose gear traveling over the bumps at high speeds.
thank you
Aerodynamic breaking with nose up position is very effective.
_Aerodynamic breaking with nose up position is very effective_
No it is not. The most effective way is the wheel brakes. But if the pilot steps on the brakes while the nose gear haven't yet touch the runway, he's running a risk of collapsing the nose gear. Therefore it is recommended to lower it as soon as possible. There is no "educational value" in keeping the nose wheel in the air; the only reason is the cost cutting.
Pranas, I'm sorry but you can't compete anymore in the BAA videos since that young lady we saw last time from your Academy :p
What a plane? :-)
Tecnam P2002-JF - I'm training on same plane ;)
Don't believe so. Either way, it's a P2002 Sierrs, can tell yu what the difference is between JF and a standart one. Maybe you know?
should of reported downwind
May be he is not a student any more or just has a licence for this type
How could a student fly a plane without a co-pilot? This is a real question. I mean in what level can a student fly without a co-pilot? And in what case a flight must be performed by two pilots (while one is a student)?
bhahah planes behinds like hurry up!
Good job.
Now do it in a real Airbus!!
1100RPM? xd
yes
esse avião é bem feiosinho
I hate that plane lol
