I have a question.. considering this uses Bluetooth technology does it tend to break in between when transferring big data? I have 121 GB of data on my old iPhone and if I use this method is there a chance that some of my data would go missing? Because I don’t want to use iCloud backup
@@ShatMyPants it does use Bluetooth and I don’t think there will be a chance that it could disconnect just make sure the 2 phones are close together and leave them there Undisturbed since it’s a bigger download it will take longer to transfer
Are there any disadvantages to transferring all data to a new phone rather than setting it up from scratch? For instance, could apps which have become bloated with excessive app data or a large cache work more slowly? Could buggy behaviour be inherited?

This has honestly been the most helpful tutorial I have ever had. I just got the 12 and I was updating from the 6s. It was a nightmare trying to figure it on my own because of the backups I was trying to do on Icloud. When I got my new phone the lady who sold it to me, didn't even explain the option of doing the reset and syncing them that way. Overall, this video was super easy to understand. You ROCK!

Me too! I hope it worked out for you. I have one question, do you have to remember all your social media accounts or will it already be logged in when you transfer the info to your new phone?
@@giselle6974 for me all my accounts were still logged in. But, and correct me if I’m wrong, I think that if you don’t back up a certain app that you are logged into on your old phone it might log you out once you transfer.

this is a legit question that also concerns me. there are so many password and impossible to recall them all by memory.

These are excellent instructions. I bought my iPhone 12 two weeks ago and hadn't transferred from 6S cause I was so crazy busy, a little buyers remorse (my old phone was still working fine you know), an d a little fear (Verizon support went AWOL probably cause of covid). Anyway, of all the 'How to's' on CZcams this was the best because it simply was straight forward, quick, and cut to the chase (e.g. no irrelevant material or attempts at humor taking up my time). Thank you very much.

If someone has a pattern of continually “misunderstanding” you, there’s a good chance you’re getting manipulated. You could end up talking yourself in circles which will be draining, harm your mental health, and make you too emotional so that you can’t think clearly. Many people like this are no different at their core than people who are OPENLY verbally and physically abusive, they’re just more sneaky about it, and there’s a good chance that the physical and/or verbal (aka overt) abuse is on its way. Covert abuse is very hard to spot

Your tutorial was ahhhmazing... I was upgrading from a preowned 6S so I haven’t had a new phone in about 5/6 years roughly... I was having some technical difficulties on my own trying to transfer. I think it was because new phone was simultaneously trying to update which threw off the transfer process so my data never mirror transferred....Well after your video tutorial demonstration which was clear, simple to understand, and thorough to what may or may not pop up in between the process was perfect...Your timing/pace between each step was controlled and conscious of the audience who was being taught something...Thank you soooo much....Looking forward to checking out more of your channel 😉

Hi thanks for the cool video. After done transfering all the data to the new iPhone... Then I wipe everything on the older one.. factory reset it, will it change anything on the new one?
One thing to note, if you want to do a direct transfer from iPhone to iPhone like he did in the video, make sure that both phones are on the same software version, otherwise it won't give you the option to transfer directly.

Finally, while watching the video, I noticed a continue button on your screen that wasn't visible on mine. I scrolled down and there it was! After pressing that it was working fine. However, I have noticed a little problem - while all other secondary apps (Facebook, Twitter, etc) and media (photos, videos, etc) transferred seamlessly, it seems the iOS-specific apps transferred with some problems. Notably, Calendar, Notes, Fitness, Watch, Maps, Mail, even Stocks and Weather all appear on my new phone but cannot download and I cannot even open them. Please any help on what I can do?

How long does it take using this method as explained in the video as I want to transfer from iPhone 7 to iPhone 12 and the data on on my iPhone 7 is 127GB. I’m so afraid it will take the entire day to transfer 127GB. I also don’t have wireless internet. Thanks.
@@JoeCamp-mf1ug um I was doing it wireless form a iPhone 62 that had 70gb and transferring to the 12 so it took 30-45 mins for me but it might just take u like around 2 hours so I hope this advice helps haha

Yes i did it and all whatsapp data transfer, even favorite stickers. In my opinion its the best method !

Arron, would be good to mention that some banking apps you have to remove your credentials on your old phone before deleting or transferring it to the new one. Otherwise you may find yourself having to phone your bank to get online banking working again. Great videos as usual👍🏻

I put the new 5G sim in the 12 and it transferred seamlessly still
