My dad had a 928 back in 87, was an absolute beast. This one came out so good 😎
The car and display base look incredible. I admire the depth of detailing that went into the display base.
An amazing piece of automotive history. I have one in my driveway.
This is a 4.5-litre non-interference engine 928. A wheezy low-power thing, with just 245 BHP. Not much of a car, really. But the 4.7-litre S made 310 BHP and is a much better car. Expect any 928 to cost in excess of $4,000 per year in regular maintenance, and budget at least an extra $5K for big items every few years.
In over a decade of daily driving, I spent over $70,000 on mine. And it still needs $5K of work!
Nicely done Danny, looks fantastic. As for lack of videos its cool as long as you are healthy and safe, job comes first as it keeps roof over your head
Danny, great to see you back. Beautiful 928!
Those flowers are fantastic, what an ingenious idea!
While the model came out well, it’s the scene that sets it off! Simply incredible!
Holy crap, didn’t think much of the casting at first but after your resto WOW !!!! That is true indeed a 928, Larry killed it 😲 Amazing resto and you bought out the true beauty that it looks like Mattel tried to hide.
I've never seen that casting look so good!
The 928....the Tony Montanna Porsche. :) Defo my favourite Porsche; more interesting than the myriad 911's out there. Great job Danny!
Love ur work. Please come back soon with more content 🙏 we miss ya
All I can say is WOW!
The car looks great, love the gray!
That display scene is AMAZING!
Thanks for sharing!
Great looking 928, classy colour and very nice wheels 😎
Good looking display piece too 👍
These metal on metal castings are so cool, only that weight makes then feel better quality than later metal on plastic ones 🤔
Love the additional stand you did. Superb little details add so much life ot it!
I miss Danny and his videos!
The Porsche turned out wonderfully Danny...but that base is amazing! So many wonderful ideas/techniques that I can't wait to try...when I find some patience lol
I love the Porsche 928. Great job. Please keep up the good work. Thank you.
Fantastic restoration on the Porsche 928 Danny, lovely little diorama to go with it , looks like grama likes to go circuit racing 🏁 now and again 😉 👍
End product looks SO GOOD.
I like the color on the car and that little diorama piece is sweet!
definitely shabby to shiny. amazing transformation. diorama turned out awesome aswell. no apologies needed life comes first
I am glad to see a new video from you and happy you are well. A lot of guys have been taking breaks so I'm glad you are back. This project came out great, just wish the color in the cobble stones showed through the wash more but love all the details with the plants.
Outstanding work Danny, excellent detailing on the base .
Gorgeous result, Danny!
From scruffy and beat to smooth and neat!
The color and wheel choice are spot on.
Nice little display diorama the attention to detail paid off.
Wow, Danny! Love the new intro. Also, the wait was worth it…this is next level…just amazing! Can’t wait for the next one.
Like the new intro Danny, your work on the 928 and the base is superb as always!
Great looking resto/custome! I really like how you paint the tail lights with the tint over silver. Watching how you built the base was a cool addition.
Great restoration Danny...I really enjoyed this clip...great stuff 😊
UNBELIEVABLE !!!!! .
What else can anyone say .
AWESOMENESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS..........................................

Awesome Porsche and diorama mate 🔥🔥🔥
That is a really fantastic turn-around between the "before and after" appearances! :)
Wow, stunning result, both the Porsche 928 and diorama. It's great to show us all what you did Danny, you do amazing stuff.
Your work is amazing as always. Especially the scenery for the car, Luke Towan would be proud!
Well done, mate! The car and display base are looking great now.
(Good luck on your new job, hope you find the work-life-(youtube)-balance again)

Like your new opening traffic's. Nice build and great detail on that diorama.
Was wondering where you were with your videos, or if I was just missing them, glad you are just busy and its nothing too serious. Awesome video as always, loved the colour of the car and the stand is breathtaking.

Amazing restore! Good early morning from the states!!
very nice job. including the little diarama.
Looks a million bucks. Great job.
Nice job with the cobblestone driveway and the restoration on the Porsche this car reminds me of the car in the classic spy hunter arcade game 👍
Very nice work as always looking sweet Lee

Nice car and diorama.
Great video again, Danny, I love the base!! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
i wonder if you‘ve heard something from rob from mb garage, as he didn‘t upload anything since 5 months ..
Awesome hot wheel
Amazing
u did great
Very nice. I normally do not like after market wheels, but those look like they came on it from the factory. You should have did one more thing though. You should have put on the same Porsche emblems on the rims. Still real nice looking car.
I have one waiting for love ! This video motivates me !
I aspire to your level of greatness
You are still the best.
Awesome 👍👍👍💯✔
Stunning Danny, one I would eagerly add to my cabinet.
How can I acquire this?
Makes me wonder why HW released the 944 as a new model recently instead of retooling the 928 as they already had it.
@Shawn 🏴☠️ Stafford - I hear that.
Opening parts were just a nice surprise back in the day. Now it’s marketed as something special and therefore more expensive.
Even some of my Lesney models from the late 60s and 70s have opening doors etc.
Can I just add that the new HW Miura looks terrible even compared to the Lesney version.
The modern MB version is also a bit off.
That tarnished Silver color was perfect for this one. That diorama really put it in the perfect location out on a country lane. The only part I didn't like were those orange leaves. I think it's a combination of then all being the same color and shape maybe the size.
Leaves aren't easy at such a small scale sometimes actually using dried leaves crushed up fine or even spices gives a multiple colored look that's good.
Lovely
Spanking clean and shiny!! Nice!
awesome
NICE 👍👍
very cool
Awesome.. cool bro
Awesome work on the diorama!!
How do you remove these small prints without breaking them?
Danny boy I missed ya
The black primer looks like a render rather than real. Oo
Loving this one Danny, it's one of my fav castings. It's inspiring me to redo the one I did a while back now. Also what is the name of the snow product you used to help create the flowers I would love to give that a try myself
Woodland Scenics Snow for model railways etc 👍
@@DannysDiecastDisasters thanks mate, it looks fantastic you did a great job as always
Hey I own one of those cars! It probably looks just like this thing lol been parked somewhere for years
great
nice job danny .. what do you do in your new job ?
Hi Danny, nice job on this one. Question for you, witch type of 3D printer do you use: resin or filament? Any recommendations?
Liked 💯👍
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That P928 model I'm trying to find it but no luck for me got it keep searching.
No more videos? I just subscribed
Turned out rather nicely Danny, especially considering what a grotty casting it was. That paint was a great choice, perfect for a Porsche. Paintbrush bristles are often used for vegetation but I've never seen anyone use them 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 before - well worth the effort though.👌😁
It's too bad the cobblestone colors didn't show through.. it must've taken some time. Either way.. it all looks great 😊
