Majorette restoration Simca 1100 No. 234. Toy model cast.

Simca 1100 is a model produced by the French company Majorette in the years 1975-1979. The model was made of a technology characteristic for Majorette. In the first years of production, the Simca color was metallic bright blue. To display the subtitles in your language in the movie, please press C on the computer or the three dots on the mobile phone in the movie. In the last year of production, the model was sold in black with the inscription Police. In 1978, the model was also launched along with a caravan. My model was complete. The only thing missing was the hook which had been broken off. The model needed a major overhaul as there was no paint on it at all. I painted in company technology. I put a colorless varnish with a transparent blue dye on the silver base, which gave me an effect identical to the original one. The boxes the model was packed in were different, so I chose one from the existing ones. Thank you for watching the movie, I publish videos with the repair of cars on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

My mother had a Simca (actually, she had two: first a red one, then a blue). Very similar to your model, but not a hatchback. I learned to drive in that car!

Quite a rare model, in the 70's and 80's all the Simcas on the road here in the UK I saw were either this metallic blue or a solid navy blue, we had them as a fleet car at British Relay.

I love this restoration!! Very great! The only problem is the screw that you have to use to lock the car. You lose the authenticity but probably is the only way to reassemble it

Superb restoration my friend. My father had the real thing years ago and he always had problems with the gears clashing lol it was the first family hatchback car we had and I took a fond liking to the shape. Really nice car. Great job. The only minor issue is the colour is not quite right. I have this car too. It was also the first real car I ever rode in as a newborn baby! The colour of the real car matched the toy car which was so cool! I still have the toy car. The real car was traded in for a Ford Escort Ghia.

Paul, I noticed you've had windows not getting clean or very yellowing. There are two methods to do this. One, is putting the glass into hydrogen peroxide with a blue light over the dish. Two. You can use conditioner used for hair and put a blue light over the dish. I hope this works for you. I watch your work all the time. You are a craftsman.
