I did like the Green collour, kinda spectraflame, collour shifter? You are so talented. This truck came out awesome. Nice collour combo, interrior looks great, cool wheels, and the box on the bed gave it that vintage offroad camper look
Perfect custom restoration Danny , that Ford F1oo looks well smart now, you could've taken just the Cross pieces out of the bed , so yiu can throw in a couple of sleeping bags and a couple of surfboards mate , head to the coast with some tinnies and have a barbie on the beach and party on through the night , perfect weekend away 😀 👍
Nice one Danny have the same one but it had a lion in a cage in the bed that rotated when rolled truck was yellow glass with red the grill is metal and molded with the chassis one of my all-time favorites from my childhood
This Ford looks a million times more better than it did before! with a clear windscreen and the 3d printed camper top. Plus that 2 tone paint an those wheels, wouldn't mind one like that in real life to enjoy some camping trips 🙂
That restomod looks amazing! So much better than the original. The colour, the wheels and everything looks so good on the Ford. It looks very 60s authentic IMO that is. And the camper (also the one that goes over the cab) looks authentic to the ones used back in the 60s and 70s. I just say well done!!!
I don't know danny, my dad had a cream and dark avocado green Ford truck when I was a kid, and that I thought was a really good looking truck. So I still think the rain could have worked. Just not the way they did it. But I love what you came up with though man!
You're killing it with the 3d printer, and the clear windshield is brilliant (I hate those weird colored ones)! The silver trim and grill look good, but if you get some chrome pens (you may have to "pump" some out to brush on) it would take it to the next level! Great job!
A wonderful transformation from where it started! Love the color choices and the printed add-ons (although before you added the grill, the front did seem to be smiling lol)
That's super cool! You do some awesome work Danny! The new technology that is available really opens up the options for customizing or just filling in missing pieces. Thanks for sharing!
The red over sand colour scheme is looking fantastic, a big improvement on the original. The overcab rear that you made originally reminded me of the superfast #38 D Ford campervan.
Super resto-mod Danny, I agree the green glass is not great but I did kinda like that it was green on green! But your colour scheme finish is perfect, really suits this model of car. What 3D printer do you use Danny? Seems to do a really brilliant job at fine detail. Stay safe 👏🤩🙏
Danny, I think that the plastic suspension units were made from either High-density polyethylene, or a type of polypropylene. Both should be resistant to paint stripper. Had they been polystyrene, though...😱💀💀💀💀 Beautiful finished custom, there. I never liked the kennel truck as a kid. I always took the dogs out and 'lost' them. The plastic cover was usually painted black with Airfix model paint, and I played with the truck like that. The model was altered in later years, to become the 'Rolamatics' model, the 'Wildlife Truck', which had a lion in the back, on a turntable that rotated as the toy was pushed along.
Huge improvement Danny. I was never a fan of the Kennel truck, or the lion transporter, much preferred the basic truck. The two-tone is perfect for the period too.😁👍
and now we know what to do with all those leftover kennel trucks you find at the flea markets... are you going to put the sleeper cabs on thingiverse too, eventually? please do. love the colour scheme, and the fat wheels, too. :) I would have used bare metal foil for the linings, but that's just me. XD
I've watched a ton of hotwheel/matchbox custom videos. This may be the best one I've seen. I love your content. I'm curious to ask what you think about Diecastresurections struggles with youtube? I miss his videos. I pretty much look at you and him as the best content on youtube about customizing hotwheels. Where are you on this?

You really put some effort into detailing these small Matchbox cars/vans etc. Most people are just happy with a respray/mild makeover.
glad you fixed this one up my friend
Wow! That’s an incredible transformation! We’ll done, sir.
Love the Ford F-150 pickup, the camper top is perfect for it in its own right, good to go with this project,

Very nice restoration job on the Ford pick-up truck. Nice 2 tone paint job
Super nice. Like the older castings best.

Era specific for sure, great job Danny.
A work of beauty. Thanks for all your hard work.
I liked the green. But you did an amazing transformation on it. Looks fantastic
Looks Good! Need to bring in those wheels but other than that! LOOKS GREAT!
Beautiful job as always! Normally I don’t like custom paint, but that green was pretty hideous. Your color choice looks much better!
Love the two-tone paint!
I have the same Damn #50 Matchbox Kennel Truck from 1974, Lost the Animals, the Bubble Plastic Top & the Damn Front grill & Lights.
Excellent work, Sir, really appreciate your approach and solutions with this model! Applause!
Awesome restoration
What a beautiful job!!!!! I would love to get my hands on some of those caps and camper tops!!!!
You knocked that one out of the park
That's reallly nice. Now I gotta go out in the garage and find mine from back then. I think I lost a doggo along the way.
it is amazing that truck is the same casting that you started with. turned out awesome.
Nice one Danny have the same one but it had a lion in a cage in the bed that rotated when rolled truck was yellow glass with red the grill is metal and molded with the chassis one of my all-time favorites from my childhood
Good job!!!.
Congratulations from Peru...👏👏👏
Very nice. Love the glass in the back. Colors are perfect for that time period.
Sharp looking truck, my dad had a couple of real 1968 or 1969 ford ranger f100s back in the 1980s😊❤👍
This Ford looks a million times more better than it did before! with a clear windscreen and the 3d printed camper top. Plus that 2 tone paint an those wheels, wouldn't mind one like that in real life to enjoy some camping trips 🙂
