The look also reminds me of the spiked vests they give to dogs to protect them from coyotes, or how there were women who appreciated how ballgowns forced people to give them space. For a furiosa movie, a woman wearing something that screams “stay the fuck away from me, you will get hurt if you come near me” feels very on theme
I love the headpiece, but it feels lacking waist down, also the skirt length makes a boxy shape that doesn't flatter her at all, which is unfortunate because waist up is chef's kiss.
I love that this entire cadre of people are bringing us art. Something more than "pretty dress" to talk about. Law really UNDERSTANDS fashion and what his clients can bring and I appreciate it. Thank you for highlighting this ❤️
I love this! looooove that we're seeing ICONIC looks being pulled from older collections- like they're often more interesting than the custom gowns, it's nice to see incredible items being shown off as they deserve (obvious barring them getting ruined) and honestly feels less wasteful than a gown that will never be worn again
This is such a fun design. The globular distribution of spikes is brilliant. The headpiece echoes that and completes the look to perfection. Must be seen in movement!
The Path of Exile community was SO excited to see it because it resembles the Gemling Queen Diala. She's beloved by the community and calls players 'Not-A-Cockroach' and 'Unbug', which feels good after being called exile constantly for so long. I loved it.
It seems Zendaya pays Law WAY more than Anya does quite likely. Especially as you seldom if ever see Law hanging out with or around Anya but he's rarely not around Zendaya. But yes, he does style Anya and I think I like how he manages her aesthetics. Anya's aesthetic seems very Marchesa meets 1700s social butterfly. It's very old school rich European patron to the arts type of thing. Very delicate, feminine, with a slight sex appeal.
@@eyesthrurosecoloredglasses Zendaya and Law Roach are "like family" as they've said in interviews. I think theyre really close! i dont think its about paying him more lol
I’m loving all of these vintage designs we’ve been seeing. Although seeing something called vintage from the year I graduated high school is a little unnerving 🤣
I really love that nowadays actresses and actors come to the premiere of a certain movie wearing something that is similar in vibe with the movie or even something that could be seen as a nod or an easter egg of that movie.
Beautiful headpiece! The dress is good WITHOUT the arrows. A satin bias-cut retro deco dress, long, or midcalf, even better than the Rabanne dress. With the headdress, yesss.
If Zendaya had worn this you’d be singing her praises. Anya does method dressing and you take some jabs. Sure it’s out there, but so were Zendaya’s method dressing moments and she was just labeled genius. Anya looks incredible here. She usually always does.
THANK YOU. Anya is the REAL fashion icon of the moment out here if you ask me. People are so busy worshipping Zendaya they forget her. But some of us really see Anya for her vision, thank you!
@@victoriadiesattheend.8478 100%. Zendaya is absolutely stunning and serving looks almost every day. But Anya is a really true fashion queen herself, and takes risks but more often than not slays all of them. This Paco look completely embodied the spirit of Furiosa and I can’t imagine many people besides Anya pulling it off.
You know, I used to think that Anya could wear anything like Zendaya. (I’m not even a Zendaya fan but she really is that versatile.) Anyway this look and a couple of others have made me realize that Anya can wear almost everything but not everything. The length of the hemline doesn’t sit well on her. It’s awkward. It kind of kills the look. I do like the dress on the model.
I think it is fair to say that she will change before sitting down and watching the movie because that would seriously ruin the dress.
And her ass... 😂
Or ruin her bottom 😅
not to mention the view for anyone behind her! 😅
It would seriously ruin some parts of her as well. 😂

I was thinking that about the boxy shape that doesn’t work on her as well as the dress worked on the original model
Amen
Spiky cars or a corpse full of arrows, both interpretations arguably fit the theme.

This is so well said!
@angelabolton4478 thank you 😊
If not now then when? Go crazy for the events, I love it
This look fits in PERFECTLY for the movie premiere.
I think you need to be very slim to wear that dress.
When Anya was a child star I never thought she would be this iconic in fashion. Girl was made to standout❤

Let's be honest Anya never fails
Let’s just hope she doesn’t fall in that dress 😅
Her dress choice failed.
she looks terrible in that dress though
Sis really be ACTING. I need her and Saoirse in a movie together NOW.
she has such an interesting face, I think she pulls off that dress and headpiece really well.

zendaya made dressing on theme with her movies popular but anyas also been an og theme dresser and she always kills it
I think it’s cause they have the same stylist?
@@handlenotavailable908i was wondering if law roach dresses her too

I was looking for this comment. I totally agree with this. And the way zendaya does it is so graceful.

Love this because it fits Anya's vibe, I really love her looks and acting, and what she wears is so different
LOVE THIS, it's FASHUN
This girl! Making bold moves in character choices and runway looks! Get it, little scream queen!!!!
She just looks so cool. ❤
I just love her and everything she does. She's up there with Zendaya ❤ both beautiful professional queens
I saw the Haute couture Paco Robanne shows in the 90’s in Paris…they were gorgeous…Anya is breathtakingly beautiful in this
Absolutely Stunning!!!!
I love it, and tasteful yet adventurous pieces like this (and Zendaya because DUH) make me want to go see these movies more
Yes! I only became pumped for Challengers after seeing Zendaya in the little skirt with the feathers on the hem
Luke she is serving !!! Luv her
Its perfect... great sea urchin vehicle reference too as well as just the vibe of the series
One of the few people who could pull that off! While you can you should! We get to see a gorgeous piece of fashion out and about. Win win!
I love what these girls are doing for their movies' premieres. I hope these trend continues where we get to see all these amazing vintage styles.
I like it, and as an aside the spiked cars themselves are a reference to an early Peter Weir film called The Cars That Ate Paris.
She looks adorable, like a Busby Berkeley showgirl
I love her. She's always making interesting choices.
Anya is so gorgeous
Love it - I saw some original Paco rabanne dresses in the Dali Museum in Figueres Spain, very special. Fits Anya and the movie✨
I’m loving all of these vintage designs we’ve been seeing. Although seeing something called vintage from the year I graduated high school is a little unnerving 🤣
Anya is so beautiful and ethereal
Sorta makes me proud of her. Get it!
Moment. For sure.
I love it. That headpiece looks amazing on her!
Appropriate for that movie premiere ❤❤❤
I love this she looks like art and its great for a the furiosa premiere
she never misses ❤
She looks like a goddess
The headpiece looks soo pretty on her
Looks like somebody is following Zendaya's fashion note (in a good, avant garde way)
Don’t they have the same stylist?
@@annamazina3278 Then the stylist is *good*!

Friends of mine were at the Sydney Premiere and said the dress in person was absolutely amazing!
I love it when stars dressed on theme to the premiere. It makes things so much more fun.
She's having fun with a look, I'd do the same
Ever since I saw her in Emma,
I have adored her.
She wore it?
Love it!
The fact that 1996 is considered vintage just caused my midlife crisis
I THINK IT'S SO COOL. MY FAVORITE IS OBVIOUSLY THE HEAD PIECE 😊
She’s on theme!!! more than I can say for most of the people at the met gala this year.
This look for a valentines photoshoot? GOD
I’m so ready for her to reprise her role as Magik in Marvel
When is coming out?
@@thecowboyrobot8428 she was in new mutants. Hoping she comes back
I like it. Its geeky and conceptual
I love how Anya Taylor Joy resembles Uxia the cecaelia from “Dagon” 2001.
it's refreshing and exciting, a well executed look, and most importantly-it's fun!
She rocked
She ate
Gorgeous
I think the length is off on her. Longer hemline would have been perfect. Or shorter. That mid-thigh isn't doing it for me.
Same I think a longer hemline would have been great
Agreed, noticed it too because I struggle with that length on me. It just looks wrong and I have to get it taken up.
I agree, it would fit her body proportions better since she has a longer torso to legs ratio (I also have this problem)
Loved it, suits her
GORGEOUS
I’d say I hope the shoes are comfortable because she standing for the movie 🥲
i love it. I know she has a sit-down dress to change into.
It's gorgeous fun 🎉
i think it's wondrous and delightful
It looks great
look at all the pressure points health boost, love it
This is how I imagined the Hunger Games red carpet would’ve looked like if they all slayed
Definitely a moment.
Honestly I love it! Shes having fun being on theme and looking good! It's what fashion is all about
shes been dressing for the met gala without attending the met gala. respect
i think she never forgets to serve ‼️
love it, excellent for the premiere
This is so law roach coded because he really brought back themed/method dressing!
I love it
I really love that nowadays actresses and actors come to the premiere of a certain movie wearing something that is similar in vibe with the movie or even something that could be seen as a nod or an easter egg of that movie.
Good! I hope more celebrities start themed dressing for their movies. It adds so much to the premieres and era
It is a moment indeed
I like it! It would keep people far enough away so that you don’t get unwanted hugs ….. or worse, air kisses!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
LOVE this!
Oh my gosh I love it
Your the only fashion reviewer i trust❤
This is a much better thought outfit/dress than 99% of the dresses from the MetGala. I just love it!!!
She is into fashion, and I celebrate that
It's just as crazy as Zendayas robot look for the dune 2 press tour. And just as beautiful.
I love it. ❤
Let's be honest. she's one of the few people who could manage to make it look descent. We love an avant-garde.
It's the perfect movie moment though
I like it. Very art deco
