According to my kids my Suzuki Jimny became a monster truck as soon as I put some tiny mud terrain tyres on it. It doesn't take much.

Put a 7.3l turbo diesel in it with a 5 speed manual transmission. that should help a lot lol

From the rust free south. I cried. That body style is beautiful and all they did was come along and rape it. I cannot stand this car channel sometimes, they treat valuable cars like they grows on trees. I hate what guys like this have done to so many old broncos and jeeps.
I am not a ford fan but I almost died when they cut it. The truck does look sweet though.

+_osvaldo_ 420 the engine was not garbage. All engines are good. Most people think if an engine is not a built big block it's trash. Wrong.
+Mikey well you see in a truck like that a diesel would've given them the power and torque they needed, a regular gas engine wouldn't cut it.
+_osvaldo_ 420 bullshit. Diesel engines are made for torque not power. You rarely see diesels as rock crawlers. Now when you're someone like the diesel brothers who are dumbasses and have millions of dollars to blow then you can build a 800+ hp diesel to run the rocks. Until then you build gas engines. A lot of small block Chevys are used to rock crawl. I had a 76 dodge military truck with a stock automatic 318 that I lifted 10" and ran big tires on. It would crawl anything.
+Mikey you're telling me a small block would have provided the power for the f350 crew cab long bed? you must joking buddy, a small block will never provide the power this truck needed, maybe a small cab yes, but not a crew cab longbed.
They need to take a Subaru and lift it on 33s or 35s that would be badass.
There's a guy in my town with an outback with the fenders cut out for big ass tires. Thing looks crazy! Not much room for suspension travel though!

On the rocks what tire pressure were you running? seems like very little sidewal flex.
Little lift big tires is the way to go. Looks so much better than 30 inches of lift on tires that could fit with 10 inches.
You should really check out the icelandic super jeeps, they have road legal 54" rams and fords
***** You say that, But those old frames have alot of flex in them, Although you are right, But in a Mud truck, Articulation really isn't a huge deal. And let's be honest, That's a mud truck that can do other things.

+Angel Valdez I think they left those tires pretty pumped up because if they did low pressure the small block and current transmission would have played hell spinning those tires. You are correct 15psi or somewhere there about is great when you are on the rocks. That is doubly true if you have bead locks.

Brakes only slow you down
It's an F350 so they should be hydroboost (or whatever Ford calls it). If they were vacuum assist they wouldn't work at all with tires that big.

I did almost the same thing with my Chevy K5 6.5L diesel Blazer. My sister parked her Toyota Corolla right behind me. I checked my mirrors but the car was so close and small I never saw it. idoling I pushed it for almost 20 yards before I started to climb the hood. the Corolla was a manual in gear with the parking brake on and only stopped moving as the back tire hit the curb. I only had paint on my bumper and scratched the hitch receiver.

FutureMarinecuv902 its pretty much a giant mud truck and people with rigs like that almost always prefer big blocks because you need a lot of rpm in a certain situations
