LT4 Swap Exhaust Fabrication for Supercharged K10 - Lifted Chevy Squarebody Ep. 10

- The LT4 swapped lifted K10 squarebody is back this week for one last episode! Last week you heard this LT4 fire up for the first time with open headers. It was definitely too loud to send it down the road, so we're fabricating a custom exhaust to get some better sounding exhaust notes from this K10! Not only is this truck sounding cleaners, you can also hear that supercharger sing! With the exhaust routed to the back of the squarebody and the O2 sensors hooked up, we can finally take this truck out on the street, and this truck looks AMAZING rolling down the road. Unfortunately this lifted K10 is not sticking around long enough for us to have too much fun with it because we have to send this to the other side of the country so the owner can enjoy it as much as we have!
Now that this truck is rolling out of the shop, we have room to roll some new stuff in! Make sure to subscribe because we're going to be taking on a HUGE C10 chassis swap project, we're going to be finishing up our twin turbo Chevelle, and hammering down on the 7.3 Godzilla swapped Lincoln Continental. You're not going to want to miss one single episode!

That air intake whine sounds amazing. What a simple clean build. The owner must be delighted with his/her new toy.
That's not just the intake. It's a nice little supercharger!
Thanks, I definitely am!
Dave the " Auto Wizard " did an Amazing job on the exhaust, the truck looks Awesome 👍
He killed it!
Not going to lie one of the best CZcams channels. I live in Australia and will stay you to watch love the work guys
Thank you so much! We really appreciate the support!
Awesome K10. That will be one happy customer over in Washington state.
We hate to see her go but love to watch her leave! lol
That truck is BAAAD. Anyone else wonder why transporter had it so far back? Seems like an odd spot to put it. Another kickass build....great job boys!
So he could keep it low with the rear top ramp down and clear under passes.
He also had a few other pick ups to do before leaving Florida. So it probably made it a bit easier loading everything else up too!
Ty once again for the content
On point my savages
Thanks for always supporting the shop Luis! We can't thank you enough!
No thanks needed
Thank you 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tourlou ! An expression used by older ( as I am) french speaking "Québécois" in Canada, to say goodbye. Love your content and video's, keep them coming, and don't stop building them.
Thank you so much!
😥😥 Sad to c it go but also happy. I Love that truck.
We wish we could keep it a little longer and take it off roading ourselves, but it does make some much needed room in the shop!
Great work and awesome to see this build going home!
Glad you enjoyed it! We got some more big builds coming once we get moving a little farther on the Continental and the Chevelle!
Loved this build ! Much love guys
Thank you! We got some even cooler stuff coming in the next few weeks!
The end of another great job. Keep up the good work guys.
Thanks! We got some really cool new projects rolling into the shop soon!
That truck is so cool, the sound is amazing! I almost forgot how cool that interior is.
The interior is easily one of our favorite parts!
One hell of a truck! Love the K10!
It turned out so sick! Thanks for the support!
Awesome work! Thanks David, Andrew and Mike, and anybody else who worked on this 4X4. Great job!
Thank you!!!
Man that customer is going to enjoy the hell out of that build. Great job dude!!
Hope so! We're sad we couldn't have it around for a little while longer!
Awesome truck!! Nice job guys!
Glad you like it!
Good work on the exhaust
Thanks 👍
Watching Dave doing all that pipework was very exhausting.
...
Yepp, you guessed it: today is Punsday! 😁😎🤟
That one was perfect! lol
Awesome work, git some!
Thanks so much Slappy!
Sad to see it go! Great work!
Thank you! We got some even cooler projects coming for y'all real soon!
Hopefully he takes it to some shows around here. I’m a huge fan of your work but Florida’s a long way away.
Hopefully you'll get to see it out and about!
Off to my neck of the woods.
Maybe you'll see it driving around!
Really want a square body, one day, one day it will happen.
It's all about being patient in finding that right build for the right price!
Love that build, not a fan of the “trucker” mirrors, but to each his own 😊
We've noticed that those mirrors have been a love it or hate it item on the build for some people! Check out our 1962 Stepside ChaChing that we have here on the channel. We have similar style mirrors but a bit flashier. Let us know if you like those a bit better or if these trucker style mirrors are a no-go from you no matter the build!
love it more awesome content !
We got some sick C10 content coming out really soon too!
Nice job!
BTW, the steering wheel is PERFECT for that truck! 👍
We made sure to mount this one perfectly strait too! We know how much y'all hated the crooked one in the last lifted truck! lol
When I win the lottery 😜. I'm going to be there with my unfinished project for sure. Another great video and build STS !!!
Thank you! We'll make sure to leave a spot open for you whenever you're ready to drop that project off!
LT4 🔥🔥🔥💪🏽💪🏽👀c y’all savages
Thank you so much Luis!
Excellent build. Needs the power to turn them big tires.
Definitely!
odd choice for exhaust. Dual 2.5" pipes would make more power and be quieter, especially with x pipe. This engine makes more power than either can efficiently flow, so I would have done 3" duals, but I understand about the noise issue with the 3" pipes.
My 6.0 Blazer only makes 450hp, but it has 2.5" duals with 18" perforated glasspacks. It sounds wicked mean. I hope its not too loud but in a full convertible blazer it should be fine.
👌👌
Should have a Dakota Digital gauge cluster in it
💪👊👏
What an awesome truck, looks and performance. How's the ride?
It was extremely smooth and still pretty responsive for a truck that lifted and tires that large!
A ton of work! Why not dual exhaust? What about a step to get into it? Looks pretty tall to just jump into.
It's not that difficult to get into if you're used to lifted trucks. The customer didn't have it in the budget to do a custom exhaust, but we wanted to make sure it didn't leave here with just open headers!
✌👍
Gonna miss seeing that in the shop… my more pressing question is how many times did the driver dump the clutch trying to get it loaded? 😂
Only a few! lol
If the owner is going to actually drive it off-road then they should have considered a short stack exhaust with the muffler below. I normally am against stacks because it ruins bed space, however it has the spare tire rack so its no longer an issue. And a snorkel kit would have been wise.
Looks good! Im curious, why not duals?
A custom exhaust really wasn't in the customer's budget, but we couldn't let it leave here without an exhaust. So we took it upon ourselves to build the best exhaust we could without killing our own wallets!
@@SalvagetoSavage its a damn good a d lovical reason! Thx so much for the answer!!! Its cool of the shop to do that!
I'm thinkin you just complicated the @^$# out of this.
Was the shorty headers and single exhaust something that the customer insisted on? Just wondering why you guy didn't go with long tube headers and duals. I mean it's a lifted truck with so much room for activities. It's not like a nut dragging slammed Square Body where you need stuff tucked up real high.
Nevermind, I just found the answer further down in the comments.
Is 3 inch exhaust going to be enough for that engine?
It should be more than enough for how the LT4 is tuned!
How in the hell do you build a truck like that and not do a dual exhaust?
The owner couldn't find someone closer that does this kinda work? Its alot of wasted shipping expenses shipping it twice
Apparently he really likes our work, and when you’re building a 6 figure truck what’s an extra 2k on shipping
