I appreciate the question on how to handle money/budgeting when moving in with a partner. I desperately wish people talked about this more. I do want to add that it's also an option to split based off of income. My partner and I have quite a divide between incomes and for years I was trying to split 50/50 thinking it was fair and the only way, but it left me with no savings nor disposable income. At the end of the day, these conversations need to be had often (not just once a year) where you check in with your partner on what financial goals you have, what has changed financially (a job promotion, job loss, other extra income, etc.), and also more generally if the system you have in place still works for you both.

in my neighborhood i grew up in , this one home always converted their garage into a haunted house and they were like my fave home in that neighborhood because it wasnt too scary like the haunted houses you sign waivers at haha but it was the thought that counted and so sweet this guy would go ALLL OUT on the decorations and like setup every single year it legit made me and my friends sooo happy to go to that one house every year !!
