He died like a true warrior. A true Mandalorian. A legend.

He ironically fought more like an Ordo than he did Vizsla, despite being one by blood.
I am surprised that the Red Warriors didn't forcibly remove Paz Vizla's helmet to mock his adherence to the Children of the Watch code before unceremoniously finishing him off.
they were busy winning the fight
They probably don't know about the helmet thing and assume all Mandalorian take off their helmet so no point.
This was Paz Vizla's last stand. The guards probably didn't even know his adherence to the code, but even if they did, I feel like they would have given him an honorable enough death after all the fighting and killing Paz did to bring them out. After seeing him kill all those troopers they didn't want to take any chances fighting and killing him
They couldnt care less lol
@@dubstep53 i mean anyone who the praetorian guard is needed to kill would be honoured in death, as there the uber special forces, rarely ever needed
Paz must have balls made of beskar because he went out like a GOAT.
He was a Vizsla after all, they’re always badass
Okuyasu if you were there you could have helped Paz with ZA HANDO and bring Josuke to heal Paz
Yeah rip to the G himself
This short fight sequence was indeed top notch. Actually gives meaning to characters dying.
Unsurprisingly, the quality is the reverse of the trash heap we got from the sequels. An earthworm could do better than the sequels.
That's what i really like in the Mandalorian is the good use of characters. Although there some really bad episodes this season as a Clone Wars/ Rebels fan i really like Bo-Katan along with Vizla and Armorer. Vizla was a good written character and he was there to remind us why Mandalore fell (Mandalorians are all hot headed warriors that fight each other for power and influence) while at the same time he was loyal to the end. He went like a badass and hopefully his sacrifice will bring the Mandalorians tribes even closer together.
@@DarthMarr2009 you forgot Rey saga will continue next year or what?
@@DarthMarr2009 the sequels have your balls in a vise, huh?
@@genjicrow I don’t care honestly and any NJO fan wants to burn Rey alive
Paz went out like any true son of Mandalore should, surrounded in so many bodies the survivors can't tell if he's covered in their blood or his.
The house Vizsla is proud of him
Surviors can't tell, cause there are none.
@@another501stguy House Vizsla is nothing to be proud of. Paz was more Mandalorian than Pre and Tor ever were. If any would be proud it would his ancestor Tarre. Paz actually had in common with Clan Ordo than he did with Clan Vizsla.
@@coletrain583 i never even said if they were a family to be proud of, I said they were surely proud of each other even when they took different paths
If wrecker ever goes out I’m hoping it’ll be like this this. Rip Paz 💪🏽
Forreal, thought it was gonna happen with the imperial commandos
Oh c'mon man I already feel devastated with Tech death 😔
@@postotal6340 it's possible that he survived i guess
@@postotal6340 My guess is Saw saved him via a ship before hitting ground, and they tossed his goggles to make them think he's dead.
Commander Thorn and Baze Malbus type of death. Gotta love the one-man-army, nothing to lose last stands in Star Wars.
THIS IS THE WAY!
That’a what i was thinking too and would’ve been cool he said “ For Mandalor” just how Pre Vizla did when facing Obi-Wan Kenobi and Maul
But thorn actually had a reason to fight and would've died anyway
Paz just got himself killed for no reason
@Leon Russell, his death wasn't in vain, you may think it is, but it wasn't. He managed to get everyone to safety, buying time for them to escape.
@@CT-BONITA he could have just closed the door from the other side
@Leon Russell they would have just opened it again and caught up with the rest, he was guarding it to save them
Warrior's Deaths seem to run in the Vizla line, no matter their affiliation. This though, is the best one. Paz deserved to go out no other way.
I cried so hard when I need to see another Vizla died again
Paz was a warrior. Pre and Tor were just greedy and self absorbed thugs who stained the Mandalorians. Paz (Alongside his ancestor) brought more honor to his people than any member of his family ever did.
He pulled off a Commander Thorn moment from the Clone Wars, what an absolute Goat.
The only one in the comment section who remembers Thorn's name lmao
Honestly Thorn’s death was WAY cooler
@@another501stguy Why you gotta take away from Paz man, he killed like 50 Beskar Armoured Clones and went the distance with Praetorians, kinds eclipses Thorns stand, but does not take away from it.
@@bigmrwiney9901 i repeat, Thorn’s sacrifice was BETTER, Paz only could fight against 3 bozos before dying, Thorn on the other hand..
@@another501stguy Did you not watch the Scene? He fought 50 Dark Troopers before fighting the Praetorians. Not sure why that's a problem. Thorn's was one of the best I've seen put Paz Vizslas stand trumps it to be quite honest. Each to their own opinion.
R.I.P Paz your son will miss you
Miss*
His son will one day avenge him
the soundtrack and the way the guards walk in (not in this video unfortunately) was so sick… gave me chills and i replayed it like ten times. Trying to find it on CZcams still
rip paz vizsla. this is the way.
Was hoping Paz would have taken at least one of the guards out, but he still went out like a boss taking out all the other troopers! RIP Paz you will be missed 😔
It just proves that the Praetorian guards were a huge threat for anyone to deal with (unlike how they were in the sequels 😒). Paz earns my respect, he held out in the very end by taking out all of those Beskar Dark Troopers (probably not their official names yet), rest in peace Vizsla… 😢 (Now Ragnar is the last Vizsla.)
@@brickbanditstudios6037 makes you wonder how Din and/or Bo will defeat them. One of those two if not both are bound to have to fight the guards. Try and avenge Viszla at the very least
@@brickbanditstudios6037 Bruh how were they not a huge threat in the Sequels those dudes were crazy strong.
@@SoftEndy they were easily defeated from how I see it (also, the choreographed fight with Rey & Kylo vs. The Praetorian Guards was done awfully 😬)
@@brickbanditstudios6037 Their fight was awesome and they definitely put up a good one. Rey and Kylo barely made it out alive, if they hadn't worked together they wouldn't have.
Paz has really balls made out of beskar. I hope din will be still alive in thr final episode.
Praetorian Guards >>>> Royal Guards
If the sequels did anything right, it’s these red armored, trained from birth, badass mf’ers from hell.
The Royal Guards remnants probably trained them too.
This is the way! RIP my man. He was one of my favorite characters in the series. Poor kid, his dad just died.
Hevy, Thorn, Hardcase, All the heavy gunners have the toughest hearts. RIP Paz Vizsla.
Hevy, Thorn, and now Paz; heavies will always take a lot with them and will always have the best last stands

Man I’m shocked how good this was
Paz was one of my favorites it was sad to see him die :(
Instantaneously one of the most iconic scenes in the entire canon.
I knew Paz couldnt win but I actually was surprised af when he took out all the Dark Troopers and for a brief moment I was like is this hulk of a man gonna make it out alive? but nope of course the Praetorian Guards are there especially when Paz was already tired out and made it a 3 v 1, what cowards smh. Went out like an absolute chad, no words, just ignite shield and pull out knife.
Just wanna note, the white-armored soldiers were Imperial Supercommandos, the concept art in the credits even had them wearing their armor from Rebels. Paz gave those imperial bootkisser mandos what was comin' for 'em.
@@emperortethysusdacertified8175 those are not mandos
The Praetorian Guards are loyal to Snoke and by extension Sidious. They are likely around to keep an eye on Sloane, Thrawn, and the Imperial Shadow Council.

The Vizsla name has been redeemed
Just finished this episode, had to come here n pay my respect to this absolutely beast. Paz died a true warriors death, and got to pass on as a true mandalorian🫡
Rip Paz🕊️
The way that last Praetorian sunk his spear into paz's back always gives me a chills. Its unnerving.
Your intro is funny af, much love
He lived as Paz Vizsla.
He died as Chad Vizsla.

First we lost Tech, now we lost Paz Vizsla?
I guess Dave Filoni knows how to play with the audiences’ emotions with heavy devastating deaths.
Paz Vizsla's death was an act of Honor and bravery it was the Mandalorian way
He fought and died more honorably than most of the Vizsla Clan ever did. If anything he was the only good one aside from Tarre.
Paz died as he lived: a true mandalorian.
This is the way.
Paz, nooooo!!! I literally just learned your name this season!
Fun fact: At the beginning of the episode, Gideon says he needs Pretorian Guards (The same as we saw in the Last Jedi), and those Pretorian Guards he asked for are the red troopers at the ending
NO SHIT SHERLOCK I THOUGHT THESE WERE B1 BATTLE DROIDS
@@another501stguy I mean, people are starting calling them rEd TrOoPeRs, as if they don't remember who are they, por even who Pretorian Guards are.
That's not a fun fact, its common sense. "I need 3 pretorian guards"...end of the episode: 3 pretorian guards
Are people really forgetting that they showed up in the original trilogy too? They where Palpatine body guards in his room on the death star lol
@@KingJohnMichaelwrong type of guards my friend. They’re his Royal Guards, and Snoke have Praetorian Guards
The weapon reminds me of those of snokes guards.
Rest in peace Paz vizla he died a true mandalorian😢
🫡 😢
They are the same type of warrior, both Pretorian Guards
They're said Guards.
Edit: but old
It’s a TV show your Wokeness!
They where around in the original trilogy too
I love how he stayed behind to sacrafice himself but then killed all the troopers meaning the others didn't have to leave. They could have just stayed and saved him
Hevy, thorn, now paz.... the one thing in common: they went out like badasses!! Rest in peace, Paz.
I love the soundtrack in this scene, I wish I could find it somewhere
This is how Wrecker will die taking on TK troopers before succumbing to the Blaster Bolts
Dude was fighting against 3 red Nazgûl’s or something
Can’t waite to see the highlight reels on tiktok
This is prob one of the best moments in the series as not only did we see that big boi pull off a Thorn, but we also get to see some of the might of the early first order finally starting to appear and actually in my opinion makes the first order a much bigger threat than just how we saw them in the movies, which seeing these dudes completly destroy the mando really just gives you a better idea on how more superior they are, which i just wanna say. Im glad that Jon and Dave are cleaning up the mess Kennedy left behind and are making something perfect.
this is the way bro!! RIP
Pretty epic!
This is the perfect setup for Ragnar's Hate of imperials in the future.
Reminds me of that clone guy from Clone wars against those weird droids
Clone guy against weird droids?
@@brickbanditstudios6037 Yup
@@methlokaijufan9729 I’m sorry, I don’t remember that scene. Can you specify it for me? 🙂

How do you not remember the name lmao. It's commander Thorn's last stand and they aren't "weird droids" its literally standard B1, B2's and Commando Droids from the Seperatist Army
Big respect to Paz Vizsla going out like a (Mando) Goat he is, sacrificing himself to ensure the others to escape while taking out some fodder before eventually falling to the stronger Imperial Guards.
He will be missed.
By creed, if the mandalorian warrior has been slain before the battle is won, the armor shall go to his foundling, this is the way.
i feel like uncle luke is gonna visit moff again..
Dude was too tired by this point but man he was defiant until the end.
They would have been so fucked if he was not exhausted from taking out all the previous troopers
Paz is such a tank, taking out a squad of stormtroopers that it had to take 3 imperial guards to stop him.
Nooooooo 😢
Love that the episode tries to show you how to kill Mandalorians, if they have armour that mostly deflects off Blaster Shots. Lots of attempts to go for the neck with the grappling hooks, blasters and these melee weapons.
The only thing missing from this might be perhaps using the jetpack tactically more (though we've seen from the previous fights that this isn't quite Paz Vizla's style), and maybe using the Repulsor ability (aka the Mando force push) on the Mandalorian gauntlets like we saw in Rebels.
Imagine Paz just yeets the Praetorians off the cliff with a repulser.
Something Clone Commandos are actually equipped with in SW:BF2, btw.
We now have First Order Praetorian guards already? They are preapring 30 years early.
They probably the remnants of the Royal Guard.
whats the use of his jetpack
could you upload when the nite owls meet the watch?
So now it’s moving in to show exactly how the first order rose. Since these are the guards that were seen in the throne room and not the red guard from the well, old Empire
R.I.P Paz Vizla he walked the way till the end.
And just like that his last stand is now up there with Thorn
This episode must've been the only one I truly hated the empire, I was happy seeing Paz fuck those imperials up and got pissed when these praetorian guards killed him :(
What were they supposed to do let him live
I was ad when he died. He was soo strong and big with machine gun and he died in 1vs3. Its sad
He killed all the troopers he could’ve gotten out before they arrived
It’s always the heavies that go out like badasses. Thorn, Hardcase, Baze Malbus, Hevy himself, and now Paz Vizla. I think it’s something about the massive gun.
Having played a VR with a minigun, I can tell you that yes, the big gun does make you go a bit power mad.
Here's my complaint: All the other mandalorians retreated yet Paz was able to take out all of the imperial commandos alone. Also, Bo-Katan has the freaking dark saber! I know they did it just to continue the story another episode, but to me they could've easily defeated not just those commandos, but the praetorian guards and Moff Gideon. All those mandalorians are utter cowards, especially Bo-Katan.
Yeah, that confused me too.
Like
Why the retreat? If Paz can solo the troops, those Praetorians get absolutely smacked when they see Bo with a dark saber backed up by a now non-injured tank of a Mando, plus ten other fully armored Mandos.
That dramatic entry is replaced by
“Well… Crap. We done F’d up, partners,” followed by a barrage of very one sided blaster fire
Their fighting style reminds of the Roman military
Praetorian guards were actual Roman so they were based off with similar names as a reference
RIP Paz
This is the way.
He died like a true sigma 🚬🗿
THIS IS THE WAY
Dang, I wish he'd at least manage to take out one of those red warriors before going out
I love how Praetorian Guards simply appears from nowhere, kill Paz and go away without say a thing
It's like they are just death bringers, they didn't even look like human beings
In a way it’s like a snub towards the Sequels. Favreau saying They needed 3 Praetorians to take down an already low HP Mandalorian.
Which this scene won't undo
He might not have been born or even went to Mandolore but he died a true Mandalorian! This is the way...
Haven’t seen the praetorian guards since the last jedi. Awesome! If they existed 30 years from the mandalorian to the last jedi, that means that Snoke might have been created by Palpatine by that time and the first order is rising.
It would be hilarious and satisfying if these are the same ones from the Throne fight in Last Jedi.
Din: The show
The Guards: Lucasfilm execs
Paz: Jon Favreau
This is the way to the END..
This is the way
nah how could you not include paz absolutely BODYING a dozen or so of those troopers
Paz death reminds me of Dewey death from scream 5
This is the way.
If he hadn't just singlehandedly killed 30 Imperial Super Commandos, he would've had a better chance.
Paz went to fight the empire remnant like a true chad
Ps I cried a lot for him and this is what I want from Star Wars I am eager for the last episode
