Could you provide an idea of the maximum crossbar thickness that will work with these clamps? Said differently, what is the width of the space between the bolts that secure the clamps to the cross bars?

Could you provide a measurement of the installed height dimension this carrier adds to vehicles? I’m debating purchasing, but worried about making clearance of my older garage door when installed.

Hey Jordan, thanks for watching! This ski carrier will add 5 1/2 inches in height from your vehicles existing crossbars. Hope this helps!
